When you travel with your dog it’s more challenging. The property is very dog friendly. Nice grassy areas and poop stations. There is a Longhorn steakhouse across the parking lot just steps away. We did take out because of our dog. The room had utensils and dishes plus a table for two. Perfect after a very long day of driving.

Lots of hotels, nice restraunts, and gas stops.

Lots of hotels, nice restraunts, and gas stops. Construction on highways is ongoing and can cause confusion when exits have been moved or completely closed and detours take you in circles or miles from your original exit. Residents are nice and helpful when lost.

I grew up in Texarkana, Arkansas as a child.

I grew up in Texarkana, Arkansas as a child. Texarkana has had its problems. It is not the most attractive city. The downtown area is trying hard to improve and you can see some progress. However there are some nice parks there and the zoo is very nice. The Texas side has made some big improvements and has more to offer to a tourist. Still, because I grew up there, as did my dad and mom, it is like coming home and will always be special to me.

Renas Mexican Restaurant was delicious.

Renas Mexican Restaurant was delicious. We have a GPS so we had no problem finding it . It was very close to the Hotel. About 5 miles and we didn't have to get on the Interstate. It was recommended by the Hotel clerk.

The Central Mall of Texarkana is large, bright and about...

The Central Mall of Texarkana is large, bright and about half of the shops are active. We were surprised by the combination of building sites and decrepit neighbourhoods in terrible conditions. The Regional Museum is fascinating and is a good introduction to the history of a city in two states with a name drawn from three states.

Very nice, friendly, professional and helpful afternoon staff. Requested accommodations were met. The very nice and friendly lady who prepared the breakfast made you feel very welcomed. Room was clean and comfortable. Bed was comfortable even though it could be a little softer.

Beside the indoor pool was not heated everything else was great clean room, big stand up shower, alot of place in the rooms... for 165.00 a night it's not bad at all because the room is like one bedroom apartments.. i am going stay there again next time I go bad there.
