I loved everything about this Hotel. It was also the quietest hotel that I have ever stayed at in my life, and that is saying something ! I had a full sized refrigerator, and a nice bathtub, which is something that I require. The room smelled so clean when I arrived. The grounds need a mention also. They were beautifully landscaped, with mosaics and fountains, and the pool was filled in with three topiary- ed rose bushes and grass, with a fence around it. (It is) Lovely to look at and to enjoy from my second story room. So quiet next to I80 ! I did not expect that. All of the amenities worked as they were supposed to. I will return to this place.

What Guests Said About Vallejo:

Scored out of 10, guest rating 10

Vallejo is a great bayside town.

Vallejo is a great bayside town. It has a lot of history and cultural offerings. I have never had a bad meal in Vallejo, and I come here at least once a year to hear Music on Mare Island. I like that it is close to the Wine Country, and Benicia. I never hesitate to come over to Vallejo. Did I mention that the weather is Bay Area perfect ? I had a great meal at Elephant Thai !

Vallejo is not as bad as they say.

Vallejo is not as bad as they say. Lived there for some years and visit regularly enough and I think as long as you are respectful, mind your own business, are aware of your surroundings there's nothing to worry about. Any and all of us can find something we have in common with every single person we come in contact with. This connection is how we see and treat people as the humans we want to be seen and treated as, and this is also how you can keep a target off your back. That and don't be stupid, of course. The minimal amount of street smarts is needed and youll be okay. Vallejo is alright. There's food, shopping, amusement park, community, history and more.

Vallejo is great... when... yeah.

Vallejo is great... when... yeah. So, Vallejo has it's beautiful spots that are secluded and rare. But, the outside factor is a wild card and one must be vigilant and cautious, especially if not from here. If you are from here, nobody cares either way. There's no good food here, only nice views if you have a car to get there because do not rely on the bus system. It will not support a single parent household at all, you will not survive and will be dependent on whatever is available and their requirements. They try and promote art or culture here, but all you will get is a bunch of modernized hill-billy cross-breeded with the hyphy-type culture with an unknown result that doesn't matter to be documented.

We drove seven hours and even added and paid for an extra night to my stay. Upon arrival, I requested a room with two beds instead of one since my fiancé was no longer joining me. Despite it being 2 a.m., the front desk attendant was unaccommodating and dismissive. I also found spiders on the bed sheets and ended up sleeping on the floor, waking up with itchy skin. No alternative options, such as a rollaway bed, were offered. I paid for the second night but did not stay due to how uncomfortable the experience was. Overall, the service was rude and unhelpful. I will not be staying here again.

The front staff girls were nice.

The front staff girls were nice. room was dirty. other people's hair on the bed's sheets. loud screamers right outside our 2nd-floor window at 1:00 am till about 4:00 am. a lot of shady characters near and on the property. didn't feel my van was safe there. would recommend they hire at least 2 security guards for foot patrol overnight. wouldn't recommend this place to anyone.

For this trip, our budget was limited so in the area this was the only place we could afford. Our room was clean, we only found a cockroach one night but that can happen in a street-level room. So nothing to be scared of. Otherwise, the bed was comfortable and everything worked (shower, microwave, fridge). Obviously, if you are sensitive and easily conditioned it is a place that is not for you. Homeless in the area, strange people in the parking lot and outside the rooms but we slept well.

It was very nice for what it was. My only very big problem was with the lighting. Every bulb in every area was a VERY bright led bulb. The mirror light in the bathroom which is VERY bright goes on automatically when the door opens and shines onto the bed by the door. Not a very good experience when someone gets up in the middle of the night for the person sleeping in that bed. The staff was very good and helpful.
