There is so much to do at wildwood. The beach is beautiful the boardwalk is so much fun and entertaining, food is great, streets are quiet at night and evening is pretty respectful. The city play parks are really nice and the area is clean. Just a great place all around. There really is not one thing I dislike when I visit wildwood.

We checked in on Monday, LABOR DAY.
We checked in on Monday, LABOR DAY. We were very disappointed how many places were already closed or closed wayyyyyy earlier than the advertised time. BARS INCLUDED, some before 11 PM. I was very surprised.
We did eat at the Surfing Pig and that was great, then headed to the The Lazy Bass for a night cap. Nice outside bar on the water with live music and very friendly staff! We would definitely go back to both places again!

Beach, boardwalk and bars.
Beach, boardwalk and bars. If you like that sort of thing, this is the place for you. Other activities on the island can get a little expensive but that is expected from a tourist town. Props to the people at Wildwood Waverunners and the Thundercat dolpin watch. Always a great time. I usually to to get down there right before Labor day when a lot of the Shoobies go back home because of school starting.

We drove over 10 hours from Toronto to get to Wildwood.
We drove over 10 hours from Toronto to get to Wildwood. It was our first time and we were all very pleased with our vacation. Wildwood is a great family holiday - good for multi-generational families who have grandparents and kids travelling together. Lots of opportunities to make good memories. Great for small children as well as teens.
Some of the restaurants in the area were expensive, but if you plan properly, some meals could be made in advance (picnic lunch at the beach or breakfast at the hotel). Most of the coffee in the area were really good. The boardwalk is great for walking or biking, even sitting and just people watching. Lots of opportunity for shopping - souvenir t-shirts and hoodies can be found every where, so take your time to pick out what colours and logos you would like on yours.
Highly recommend pizza from Founder's Grub & Pub, Polish ice water and ice cream and Quincey's original lobster rolls - amazing! Captain Jack has a drink special every night and discounted food between 4 and 6pm daily.
For a great inexpensive breakfast, head over to Alex's Pizzeria & Pancake house. Avoid Ravioli House - they are very expensive and quality was okay (good but not for the price).
Acme grocery store is less than 5 mins away and they have a great chicken deal at the hot food counter. The local liquor stores were pricey so you may want to bring some wine bottles along with you. But very convenient to walk to pick up beers for the hotel patio (for the quiet evening in).
The beaches are very safe in Wildwood and North Wildwood. Cape May is beautiful and well worth the drive to see for the day, but you have to pay to access the beach and the water was more rough. Be ready to drive around for 15+ mins to find paid parking.

This is one of my favorite family vacation spots!!
This is one of my favorite family vacation spots!! Our hotel (Hotel Cabana) was awful, but Wildwood itself is just fantastic! Tons of good eats, lots of fun things to do like water parks, Moreys Pier, shopping etc.
The location was great can walk right across to the boardwalk and with to kids 9 and 1yrs old it was perfect. Love seeing the beach in the morning from the balcony we were on the 7th floor. They enjoyed the pool. The beds were comfortable. The staff was friendly and helpful. Other guest were friendly the whole environment had great energy. We checked out Sunday and they let us stay parked at the hotel while we went back over to the boardwalk for the day. I will stay here whenever I visit Wildwood.
We really like this hotel. Stayed here a few times already. 6-7 nights each time. It’s right next to the boardwalk, the room is spacious and very clean. The beds are comfy. Bathroom is a bit small, but it’s Wildwood, so to be expected. They also allow pets at additional charge. It is been very helpful since we usually have to take our old kitty with us. The owners of the place are very nice and always there if you need anything. I would highly recommend this place and we definitely will be back!
I would 100% stay here again. I will probably make this my go to hotel in wildwood. Last year I stayed in another hotel that was legitimately double and some on the price and was terrible. This hotel is great for their price, honestly I was surprised with the price for how nice it was. SOOO clean, I loved the extra blanket on the beds, nice table by the windows with chairs was great for me to do work while I was there. Office/front desk just clean and up to date. I can’t say enough good things
This hotel was exactly what we wanted, pet friendly and our suite had plenty of room and clean. The location was perfect, right off the beach and boardwalk. The pool is heated and private The staff were friendly, helpful and a pleasure to speak with. There are also laundry facilities. Although the balconies are attached to each other, there is enough room for all guests to enjoy without being on top of each other. I will definitely book there again and again
The location can't be beat. A block from the Wildwoods sign/boardwalk, quiet at night because we weren't right where the rides are, but I never felt far from where I wanted to be. I wanted a place to park my car and not move it until checkout. This was exactly what I was looking for. The staff was super friendly to me, my sister, and my kids. The pool was clean. The room was clean. The price was perfect. I was super happy with everything and will book again.
The location was great! Able to walk to the boardwalk with children on a whim at 8PM to get ice cream. Pool was fantastic. Loved how it dropped off to 7 feet. That was great for my teens and the 3.5 ft section was large enough for my non-swimmer to have fun. Plenty of parking! Loved how we could just sit outside our door and not be in the back of a building. Management was very friendly!
Spacious. Clean. Fresh linens daily. Pool clean. Perfectly sized clean kitchenette. Ice machine. Outdoor shower. Close to beach and boardwalk. Front desk reception were understanding and accommodating. Managers proactive about residents who did not follow the rules to decrease disruptions. Good Wi-Fi and Cable subscription/selections if poor weather.
Knowing what an old seaside town to Wildwood is and how old most of their hotels are, I was a bit concerned. But the Sunrise Inn was freshly painted and very clean. It exceeded my expectations. I usually have trouble sleeping when I go away but I must say that I slept good at the Sunrise Inn as the beds were very comfortable.
The hotel is 2 mins walk to the boardwalk so if you have family it’s easily accessible. This facility is also good for families and if you would want to cook . They had kitchen utensils, a small kitchenette, stove n fridge . They also had a living room and the couch could turn to a bed at night so that’s an extra bed.
The room was very roomy. We had the apartment with a kitchen which was very convenient. The bathroom had been updated and the beds were comfortable. The hotel is three blocks from the beach and the boardwalk. So a good location. The staff was very friendly and helpful. There is hotel parking for the guests.
Everything. Owners are nice! Pool is always clean. No parking issues like I've experienced at other hotels in wildwood. Nice view of the beach from our room. Room 19. 2nd time here and won't be the last!
I liked that the room I upgraded to had a hot tub & a nice sunset view. I like the hotel also has an indoor pool, gym, steam room & hot tubs plus a restaurant & bar with live entertainment
Everything was pretty standard! It was a normal hotel in wildwood. The staff was super nice, and i liked that they tried to keep it quiet and from people getting too rowdy.
