The room was comfortable. The shower pressure was great. Breakfast offered both waffle and pancake options in a comfortable, spacious, room. The facility had a laundry; the one was convenient to our room. There were many food choices within walking distance of the hotel.

    We love vacationing in the Dells!

    We love vacationing in the Dells! There are so many family-friendly places to go & enjoy. We love coming in the wintertime when the crowds are smaller. There are several indoor water parks to enjoy with day-passes. Many places have live music in the evening on the weekends also. We have our favorite spots for good arcades & crane-games too. Everyone we meet are so friendly.

    Going in the off season means that you don't get to do...

    Going in the off season means that you don't get to do everything but it sure was nice to do what we could without the huge summer crowds. We tried Monk's for the first time (not the downtown one) and we were pleasantly surprised with how fast the food came out with the full house. Great service too!

    We went in the off season.

    We went in the off season. There was still a lot going on, and perfect for us. Being older we didn't need the rides or waterparks. But traveling with younger kids, I would go during the summer for all that fun stuff. Our grandkids go every year and love it.

    There is always something to do in the Dells.

    There is always something to do in the Dells. Even in the autumn. There was still many attractions open and not overly crowded. The leaves were changing and beautiful to look at. Many hotels have indoor pools and water parks to enjoy.

    After years of coming to the dells as a child, with my children and know with my granddaughter I'm saddened by alot of the changes. I liked the uniqueness of the different hotels and shops downtown. It was a great location to meet all different people from all over the world. It offered different levels of spending so folks of different income brackets could find a way to enjoy their stay. Now soo much is owned by one person and alot of the dells now looks the same. The magic is not the same.

    We incredibly appreciated how mellow and accessible the place was. We had stayed at the wilderness on the lake condos previously, which was great too, but we took full advantage of the quiet motel Aloha vibe, the proximity and relation to more natural attractions like the steam train, the lake, the river, the lost canyon tour, land of natura!!, and the river walk and root beer museum. And coffee places. Anyway, we had a wonderful time.

    - Our group (2 families with young kids and grandparents) stayed in a 2 bedroom condo unit and it was very comfortable and quite spacious. - hot tub in the room. - main purpose of our stay was to go to the water park, and overall, the water park was great. - you get full access to the water park on the day of your departure as well, which is nice.
