This was by far my best hotel experience.
This was by far my best hotel experience. The staff was extremely hospitable, friendly, and accommodating. The cleaning crew was very prompt, professional, and thorough. Everyone went above and beyond to make my stay comfortable and enjoyable. I truly appreciated the excellent service and would definitely stay here again.

We had a room facing a busy street and it was a bit noisy. Could request a room on the backside of the property closer to the pool area. Very clean two queen beds the TV was very small but the bathroom was really roomy and very clean. overall a very comfortable stay and worth the money

This trip we just did a "one day" thing.
This trip we just did a "one day" thing. Previously we have seen, and recommend, The Museum, the Old Prison, the Mission compound, a few good thrift stores, many excellent Restaurants and of course fast food places (Rally's is a must as it has a varied and cheap menu; and we don't have one back home!). The biggest attraction to me, and many friends I have brought here over the years, is its easy 15 minute drive to visit Mexico. It's an easy, SAFE and inexpensive, day trip with many benefits! Just park and walk across the border! Yuma's history and location make it what it is and keep it still worth the visit or "stayover" today!

The dust blows constantly and the roar of the military at all hours of night and day are a little startling. Yes, it is the sound of freedom and I live in a place that F16's fly over head all the time. I'm grateful, yet be on notice if you hear a "freight train" a rumblin' for 5-10 minutes straight.

Yuma is a larger than usual farm town, with an interesting and engaging history. It is definitely NOT a "walk around town" sort of place. Its "touristy" interests are almost exclusively historical. There are wonderful and varied places to eat within a short drive from any location. My experience is that the locals are quite friendly. It is a large enough town so that shopping is adequate with several "Big Box" retailers.
Fall and Winter are the best times to come if you like the outdoors; otherwise the heat will drive you to your room or the nearest swimming pool. Yuma and the surrounding area are perfect for Snowbirds, as "day trips" to interesting spots are plentiful. A 15 minute drive to Los Algodones, Mexico gives you a "park and walk" experience and flavor (bring your passport and/or conforming ID) of another country that is safer than the USA with the best and cheapest dental and optical facilities (and some medical) in the world. I have met people from Canada, Wisconsin and Europe just this week! As I said, it is only a 15 minute commute from Yuma and the secured parking for the day, at this writing, is just $10. I know I'm going back! Happy travels.

We had spent substantial a time in yuma before this trip.
We had spent substantial a time in yuma before this trip. This time we had to complete dental work in Mexico but also enjoyed walking around old town. Casino lovers will find 3 casinoes within a few miles. Also enjoyed fantastic Blue Grass Festivals at the fairgrounds in prior years.
The old prison is worthwhile to see.

We really liked that it's not a chain hotel. It's got a very nice feel throughout. The lobby was redone about 1 year ago and is fresh and spacious, with a mid century modern look. Our room was really nice, plenty of room and a comfortable bed. The breakfast room is clean and well cared for, actually, everything is clean and well maintained! There is a nice sized pool and hot tub, sun loungers. I can't fault a thing. I would not want to miss mentioning the staff. They were very welcoming and helpful.

Great location, close the restaurants, mall, Mexico. The breakfast was great, served early enough, great coffee, waffles, clean. The price for the nice room and the great breakfast was more than reasonable. This is our go to hotel when we visit Yuma twice per year.

Service was excellent byt price for 1 night wayyyy too high. Actually had it booked for night before I fly but will be a loss cuz I'm returning to Yuma sooner and booked the Super8 cuz price fir 5 nights was way cheaper !!!
