The staff is wonderful, the food is excellent, and there’s a lovely bar area. I enjoyed mingling with other guests, which was a great experience. The host was lovely, made you feel so welcome.

The roads are quiet and enjoyable to drive on at any speed without having to worry about traffic, hence giving you the chance to enjoy the scenery. The Cavern is a wonderful place to stay and unwind. The meals are delicious and the Spa is a little slice of heaven. The rooms are clean and comfortable and they all have good views. it was ideally situated for us as we had come to run the Drakensburg Marathon. We did not have to wake up early as it is situated in close proximity to the grounds where the race was starting and finishing.
