Die Waterside Cottages & Villas - Self Catering befinden sich am Ufer des Notwane, 14 km vom zentralen Geschäftsviertel von Gaborone entfernt. The place is magnificent. Host was very friendly and helpful. Very responsive to questions. A bird watcher's dream. Saw hornbills, weaver birds etc in our garden. Pool was sparkling clean and there was a cool tortoise in the garden 😃. Our kids loved it there.

The heart and soul of Chobe House is the staff. We started off with a warm welcome from Twinkle, to a lovely check in with IK and then Thato looked after us through the evenings. We woke up to a live NatGeo Wild kind of a game drive in the Chobe National Park with Charles. A knowledgeable, patient, friendly and passionate 5-Star guide. Beside the staff what’s more you may wonder. Chobe house is located right on the banks of Chobe River and still close to all supermarkets and restaurants. At Chobe house you will have comfortable bed, good WiFi, aircon and breath taking view of the Chobe River from the Boat House. Our whole stay’s highlight is the staff. Not only do they offer exceptional service; they are readily available whenever you need them for anything, literally. Our send off was as warm as the welcoming. After an informative chat on photography with IK and Phenyo we left Chobe House sure that we will definitely be back again. What a magical time we had!

Everything about this place is AMAZING. It is way better than it looks in the pictures. The place is cozy, organized, clean, very spacious and has a great vibe. You feel very relaxed and disconnected in this cabin surrounded by nature. Tebla (the host) is beyond kind, he is very cordial and helpful, one of the nicest people we met in Botswana. He makes sure you have a great stay and want's to genuinely help you. The place location is not easy to find if you hire a local cab on the street, so I would recommend hiring the shuttle service with Acacia Cottage.

The apartments are very new, spacious and clean. It looks even better in real than on the photos. The farm is just outside of Ghanzi and a very quiet and relaxing place to stay. They offer a breakfast too in the morning. The owners were friendly. Would recommend to others.

Die Unterkunft Casa Bena ist gelegen in Maun und bietet einen Garten. Tony is a wonderful host. It was a VERY last minute & late arrival booking and he was very accommodating. The place is huge and there are aircons for the bedrooms and lounge which is great. There is no backup power at the moment for the more and more frequent power cuts being experienced in Maun, but Tony is looking at a generator or solar system to assist on this front. There is backup lighting for when the electricity fails and the Wi-Fi is on a backup UPS, so at least communications are still possible for an hour or so after the start of the power cuts. The property is extremely spacious and lots of thought has gone into making it comfortable. The kitchen is very well appointed with both electric and gas stove (good during power cuts), plenty of cutlery, crockery and cooking utensils. I loved the hot-tub, which was great way to ease away the stresses of the journey. I enjoyed and will definitely be back.

We had all we needed - cozy rooms, nice views, a pool, privacy, the feeling of safety, a supermarket and restaurants in a walking distance, answers to all our questions. Extra thanks for picking us up from the bus stop.
