In der Nähe der in Vientiane gelegenen Unterkunft The Giftown Vientiane, Watchan, 100 mt from Mekong Night Market befindet sich Lao National Museum. Both Giftowns have been wonderful places to stay. Highly highly recommended. Wonderful host and just so homey.

Great stay in a cute little spot in town. Amazing little coffee shop next door called LulaLao and the night market is only about 15 mins walk away.

This place is beautiful!! From the moment we walked in the door, we were given drinks then shown to our beautiful roon. This was the best sleep we have had in months. The pillows are soooo good. The staff are incredibly friendly and the breakfast is by far the best we have had!! Thank you so much

Great place with view on the river. 50m on rhe right there is a place were you cam swim with locals children. Very clean sheets. There are only 3 rooms which are leaded by young couple. They don’t speak in English but they are very friendly. Free coffee and banana ;). I was feeling very good in this place.

Everything - The location with the river in front, the proximity to the elephants in the sanctuary was just beyond unique and beautiful. The beautiful tented river view villas with their big balcony was pure indulgence, from there we got the chance to observe the life of the Lao people farming and going about their lives by the river. We were also entertained several times a day by the elephants being fed and bathed by excited tourists! The landscape was simply magical from dawn to dusk, from the heavy morning mist to the star filled skies at night. The sense of peace and tranquility, unfortunately broken by Mr Pun blaring loud Lao music over 2 days of the New Year, and relaxed pace of life in Shangri-Lao will stay with us for a long time - until we return! We were very well looked after by Fong, her team plus all the guys in the resort - a big thank you!

Die in der Region Champasak in Don Det gelegene Unterkunft Riverside Bungalow Don Det bietet kostenloses WLAN und kostenlose Privatparkplätze. The accomodation offer bungalows facing the river, with a big room, a private bathroom and a nice terrace facing the river, with a table and amacas. The location is perfect, by the main street but out of the centre (still walkable in 10 minutes). I enjoyed the quiet place, that is surrounded by some good local restaurants, and close by the best coffee shop on the island. They do not offer food.
