This was easily the best stay on our trip to Indonesia. The staff are incredible, and you won’t want to leave. It is even more beautiful in person, and the food is fantastic (even for vegetarian!). It was my husband’s birthday while we were there and they made it so incredibly special. We rented a scooter and explored the coastline which is so beautiful and not touristy. Any hotel can be nice but the people in it make it special. Can’t wait to return !

My recent stay at La Reserve was nothing short of a five-star dream. From the moment I arrived, the emphasis on privacy was palpable, creating a truly serene and secluded escape. What elevated the experience even further was the intimate connection with the boutique hotel staff. Their attentiveness was genuine, making me feel incredibly well-cared for and anticipating my needs before I even voiced them. It felt less like a transaction and more like being welcomed into a very special home.
The exceptional food was a constant delight. Each meal was a culinary journey, bursting with flavor and beautifully presented. Whether enjoying a quiet breakfast or a more elaborate dinner, the quality and artistry were consistently outstanding. And then there was the sheer luxury of my in-room pool. Having that private oasis to cool off and relax in was an absolute game-changer and added an unparalleled level of indulgence to my stay.
Despite the tranquil setting, the superb internet connection was a welcome and unexpected bonus, allowing me to stay connected seamlessly when needed. Of course, no review would be complete without mentioning the lovely hotel infinity pool. The views were breathtaking, and it provided the perfect spot to unwind and soak in the beauty of the surroundings.
Finally, the quirky and lovely French influence woven throughout the hotel's design and ambiance added a unique charm that made La Reserve truly memorable. It was a delightful blend of elegance and playful character. I wholeheartedly recommend La Reserve to anyone seeking a luxurious, private, and exceptionally well-serviced retreat. It's an absolute gem!
