Hoeve BuytenHout is beautiful, honestly one of the most lovely places we've ever stayed. It's the kind of place you want to take pictures of and steal all of their decorating ideas! The place is immaculate, and the breakfast was fresh and delicious! The property around it is beautiful and the fact that there were adorable animals just was an added bonus. The rooms are very large, with endless hot water, very comfortable beds and they even come and service your room which you don't always get with a B&B. You are also more than welcome to use the common area during the day, sitting by the fire, having drinks or just playing board games. It's only a few minutes drive to Delft and about a 20 minute drive to The Hague, I recommend both as they are both lovely! I've stayed all over the world and this B&B is truly a masterpiece and the owners are absolutely kind and gracious, I would recommend Hoeve BuytenHout to anyone! (Get a cappuccino you won't be disappointed!)

Everything about Fortuna Spinoza exudes elegance! The owner Babette is incredibly kind and welcoming. We also loved their two little dogs. The room we had was gorgeous and so beautifully decorated. The breakfast was a great spread of local breads, cheeses and jams. I can't wait to come back!

Beautiful castle property with lounge area on one level and bedroom on another floor like a townhouse. Very quiet with nice view of the main castle.

We asked if we could drop off our suitcase 6 hours before check in time. The owner kept them for us till we came back to the hotel later that evening. He also offered a better room when we arrived, which we gladly accepted.

Everything! The staff was warm and welcoming. We were able to arrive late with ease, after the reception had closed. In the morning we were given a short tour/overview of the hotel and its set up. Next time we will enjoy the hotel’s breakfast! For us the location was perfect. We brought our bikes and within a 10 min pedal we found the charming village of Arcen. A very short pedestrian /bike ferry (about 1 euro per person one way) transported us, where the bike path ends at the river, going back and forth every couple of minutes. We enjoyed a tasty lunch and ice cream in front of the ferry drop in the town, visited the Arcen Castle with amazing gardens. Landhuis Hotel de Hilkensberg had some very clear and helpful loop routes mapped out in the hotel welcome book as well as distances by car and bike to area towns/restaurants/activities. We found the hotel at the last minute and this made planning our short one day visit easy to plan. The good sized room was modern and tastefully decorated w/ nature in mind. The bed was comfortable. We were able to walk out our bottom floor room to a patio. Luggage can be brought in w/ a short walk from the parking lot avoiding stairs. The park like grounds are breathtaking, including a large natural looking pond pool. There are beautiful places to sit, lounge, relax enjoying a book, a drink, foods from the hotel or items brought by guests. We enjoyed the fire pit roasting marshmallows (even though we arrived after 10 pm. The outdoor commons buildings /spaces are like something out of a magazine. We enjoyed a walk of the grounds enjoying the ponds with koi, shaded walkways and grassy lawn and visiting the alpacas and sheep. Had we stayed longer we would have enjoyed the well designed architectural sauna which blends in with the landscape so well. We will share the hotel experience we have with friends and would love to return with friends and family. In addition, the staff was warm and welcoming!

Large apartment, good beds, good breakfast, friendly staff

This lovely bed and breakfast was a relaxing bit of heaven in a peaceful village location. We were very happy in our large room. The bathroom was roomy and clean and beds were very comfortable. We appreciated the small details in the room such as tea and pillows and comfortable chairs to sit on. We had an easy check in with the gracious owner and enjoyed the e-bikes we rented from the owner. This is a great place for walks and bike rides and bird watching. Breakfast was very nice with plentiful, high quality food options. Excellent restaurants were close by. We will definitely visit again. Thank you.
