I loved the coziness of the property, the added information provided by the staff and the personal touches during breakfast.

I guess, the internal layout of the property is not bad, with the swimming pool, cafeteria, chairs on the lawn all spread out.

The hotel staff was quite unkind and unreasonable—definitely not recommended, especially for frequent travelers like myself who often return to the same hotels. I had already stayed at this property before, but in the wing across from the main building. Unfortunately, the staff at the main hotel came across as disingenuous, irrational, and disrespectful. A disappointing experience overall.
This hotel is set just yards from Tarifa's most beautiful beach, Valdevaqueros, the best sailing and kitesurfing location in the city, and features an outdoor pool. Free WiFi is provided.

Walking the medina was great. It’s what we come for. The food and drink around town are brilliant. We have been to Vaca Loco four times now! Tarifa has a laidback vibe to it.
Getting around is easy; it is very walkable.

Tarifa is great and is a tonic for the soul
.
Tarifa is great and is a tonic for the soul
.Lots of different things to see and do.
Generally geared to the kite/surfer connotation in the town there are still a myriad of other activities to do that make it worthy.
The scenery and the proximity to North Africa are a big draw.
It is far less tourist mass marketed than the locations further north on the Costa Del Sol.
Go and enjoy!

Excellent restaurants (Bar El Tapeo, Bar El Frances, No.6 Cocina Sencilla, Bonjour) access to the port. Turmares whale / dolphin / orcas watching— went on a boat tour and saw all three. It was a perfect outing.

Super chill beach/surf vibe.
Super chill beach/surf vibe. Epicenter for kiteboarding and windsurfing,
Yet for beach loving pensioners a joy to be by the sea.
Location on the beach could not have been better.
Breakfast overlooking the surf and weather from the restaurant a great way to start the day.
Very attentive and friendly staff (although minimal, super efficient).
This is a place for a total "off the grid" beach experience (we stayed "off season" in February). Can not wait to go back this coming September/October.

Tarifa is a unique gem and a priority stay when visiting Southern Spain. This small town offers everything you could possibly want: a beautiful and easily navigable old town, wide swathes of beautiful beaches, exceptional restaurants, and excellent proximity for day trips to Tangier, Cadiz, Vejer de la Frontera and Gibralter. It has a vibrant and bohemian spirit unlike any other town we visited in Spain. We absolutely love Tarifa.

The room was really nice. The bed was super comfortable and my bathroom had a big shower. A TV screen, too, though I did not use it. The hotel is located right in Tarifa old town. Perfect spot to explore the bars, restaurants, cafes, clubs and everything else. The place is owner managed. He is a real chilled and friendly guy. Grab a coffee at the coffee bar inside the hotel in the morning.
Stylish rooms, very clean, we could change our room without problems, got a beautiful room on the rooftop, stayed longer, good place for cooking and relaxing, near the beach, good restaurants in the old town.....thank you so much.
Amazing views of the harbour and across to Africa. Close to all shops and restaurants and the old town also not far to the beach. On site parking was great too. À brillant infinity pool on the top floor just made our stay.
