The hotel has a privileged location for you to go in search of the Cambrésis area and its capital, a city of art and history. Also perfectly situated for professional events.

The hotel (or rather motel) has easy access to and from the highway which was our main motivation for booking it. The car park is gated and the reception is open 24h - perfect. Breakfast was very simple but included fresh baguette.
Located in the heart of Cambrai, the 19th century hotel Le Mouton Blanc welcomes you for a comfortable stay. The hotel has 23 single, double and family rooms.

Petite déjeuner was OK for this class hotel. The location, by the train station, is excellent. It is also a short walk to Cambrai's busy commercial center. The staff was efficient and friendly, especially when assisting me with a minor international emergency situation that exceeded my phone's ability to communicate.
Located within close proximity to the town center, Ibis Cambrai offers an on-site restaurant which serves traditional cuisine. There is free WiFi throughout the hotel.
Hotelf1 Cambrai - offers accommodations in Cambrai. Each room includes a flat-screen TV. The rooms include a shared bathroom.

Staff were really nice. Loads of parking. You can even park next to a dead renault espace which has plants growing out of it! That's pretty cool.
I guess it's relatively cheap

Staff was nice. Not far from the highway. I was on a trip and this was the perfect place for a stop along the route.
Located in the north of the historical city of Cambrai, Château De La Motte features modern rooms with antique furniture. It offers a large garden, bike rental and a classic-style lounge area.
Plenty of places to visit to fill a whole day sightseeing.
Plenty of places to visit to fill a whole day sightseeing. A tour of the Citadel underground tunnels recommended. Good selection of restaurants and bars available. Lani Thai and Le Chatleureux (cat cafe) good for vegetarians.

If you are interested in WW1 history then Cambrai makes a good base. We had no such interest and I didn't see anything in Cambrai that would make me want to spend more than a night there. If you have crossed from Dover to Calais and plan to drive through the Alsace then an overnight stop in Cambrai will break up your journey nicely.

I selected Cambrai as a stop over to and from a longer stay near Doubs East France.
I have used Cambrai as a stop over a few times the town square is pleasant with plenty of choice for bars and restaurants.
If you like to do a bit of exploring and a nice evening walk there is a canal that leads to a small circular wood walk: Le Bois Chenu: Urban Ecological Park.
The canal is ideal for those who also like an evening run as the ground is firm and flat.

We planned our overnight in Cambrai as part of a long trip after 2 weeks camping in Brittany and Normandy. I've never felt so underwhelmed by a place, it's what people visiting Yorkshire must feel like when they pass through Goole!
Fortunately we visited many other towns during our trip with most exceeding our expectations, unfortunately Cambrai was the last on our itinerary leaving us preferring to have kept driving.
As a cultural, Great war commemorative town, Ypres it is not!

We chose the area as there is plenty of historical interest.
We chose the area as there is plenty of historical interest. The lady at the Tourist Information gave us a map of Cambai offering 3 different historical walks, which we enjoyed. There was a large street market on the Sunday.
We visited the house where Wilfred Owen wrote his last letter to his mother as well as the Matisse Museum. We visited some of the war cemeteries too.
We ate at the restaurants in the town square but found less choice on the Sunday as not all open in the evening.
It's a 3 star hotel in a retail park on the outskirts of town, so temper your expectations on its setting! But we found it provided a very comfortable base for our family weekend trip exploring the WWI battlefields in the area. The staff were very helpful, the breakfast was good, and the kids loved the pool (quite cold) and spas, and the pool and foosball tables. It's not far to drive into the centre of Cambrai for some dinner either (which is worth doing).
The hotel is easy to find and well-placed close to main roads and autoroutes - and it's quite quiet as well. There was ample parking on the occasion of my visit. The rooms have been fairly recently done up, with a little bit of style, and the bed was OK. Wi-Fi was excellent, although not secured. Breakfast selection was wider than in many of this type of hotel. The evening receptionist cum waiter was pleasant to deal with and talk to.
We had a lovely warm welcome when we arrived at 11.45pm. Extremely helpful staff who took us to our rooms, and directed us to their EV point which was free. The wonderful man on reception even suggested we store our bikes in a secure room overnight. He helped with all this. This is an exceptionally clean hotel, with crisp white bed linen and comfortable beds. Our breakfast was delicious. Thank you
Fabulous stay at this charming hotel.
The host, Philippe, is a little gem and provided us with a second to none service. He couldn't do enough for us in booking a great restaurant, chauffeuring us there and giving us a guided tour of Cambrai on the way. He went above and beyond to make sure we had a perfect stay.
The bedroom was room was huge and extremely well appointed.
Great breakfast too!
We had previously stayed in a première classe and knew that they are bottom of the budget hotels this hotel was not so busy . We booked breakfast knowing it may just be for a jam sandwich but this was tad better although orange juice ran out . We were able to use toaster.
The rooms although dated had a cleaner feel than other hotel.
Although cramped shower worked better

We liked the garden around the hotel, the convenience of parking space, the opportunity to dine "al fresco" at the hotel's restaurant. The staff at the reception were very kind. There was sufficient space in the rooms. Overall, we got value for the price paid.
Very large, updated, clean room. Park like setting. Phillipe and Bruno are very helpful. Helped us explore the city and make dinner reservations. We stayed in Cambrai to tour Great War monuments/battlefields. This was a very convenient place.

The hotel is in a great location. The staff was super nice, knew English and was super helpful. The hotel is decorated in a modern classical style and felt magical. We will definitely come back.
The hotel is very close to the highway. We had a ground floor room with easy access to the garden area to walk our dog. Bed was comfortable and room adequate for an overnight stay.
Enyoyed the breakfast and the fact that you ordered exactly what you wanted the night before.
Very fresh baquette. Also liked the mix of elderly people and hotelguests.
