The room was amazing and came with everything you need. Full kitchen, clean bathroom, and a really comfy bed. We also had a beautiful balcony.
The location was also amazing as we were about 20 steps from the bus loop. We would basically exit the hotel and be ready to take a bus to anywhere in Malta as the busses showed up very frequently.

Bus terminal to take you around the island (some buses get quite packed, you may have to stand) boat trips, bus trips, everything easy to find. Friendly locals all speak English and very helpful.

picturesque, cool and windy wonderfully wild at times, this was early spring, and I'm no beach lover, but a good walk along length. Transport via bus is very good, worth getting a roaming 7 day card, 25e for as much travel and often as you want, 10 trips and its paid for, the rest is bonus. plenty of towns Sites and cities to visit. avoid the 17.00-18.00 tme, its gridlock, but if you cool about that and don't mind 'sardines' on the local bus, its ok and plenty to look out for ready for the following day. Plenty of expats have settled here, so no shortage of guidance and advice. No shortage of local shops and small supermarkets to use if you have a kitchen available, Wellbies is probably choice in the town itself, a very good Lidl just outside, but accessible by bus on your daytrips..

St Paul's Bay is a very touristy part of Malta, which provides excellent value for money if a little less traditional. However, the public transport and hire car options on Malta (which is a very small island - driving to most places takes under 30 minutes) make this an excellent base to explore from. The bars, restaurants and coastal areas of St Paul's Bay provide a wide choice for all tastes and wallets. Swimming beaches and running routes are easily accessible. The classic car museum and aquarium offer interesting activities should you wish to pay for something, otherwise a cheap and interesting holiday can be had here without breaking the bank. The promenade is safe and easy for a stroll to look out to sea or spot a classic/super car (whilst we were there we saw several Mercedes, Porsche and an Aston Martin) or head to safe swimming areas - pretty well suited if you like triathlon training as there are bike hire shops around here too.

The only thing we didn't like was being invited to a nearby hotel to supposedly look round and show interest in staying there but ended up them trying to sell us a very expensive membership to a club in exchange for them selling you cheap holidays. For our time they gave us €25 & a free beach bag.Thereafter when we declined there offer they became aggressive . I would warn others not to get involved in this in the first place.

Lots of restaurants, some on the beachfront.
Lots of restaurants, some on the beachfront. We really enjoyed the Travellers Rest - good food, great value and service. Easy access to bus depot for trips to Valetta and Mdina. We did lots of walking along the coast.
Definitely not a beach holiday destination as the coastline is very rocky with only a couple of very small patches of sand. Certainly not suitable for children.

Beautiful area.
Beautiful area. Lovely walk along the front to the sea life centre
Area very clean. The food in the hotel was wonderful and the Italian restaurant and Cheeky Monkey restaurant were great food excellent
I would like to make a complaint against the hotel that I booked on your website and spent 4 nights there.
Before our arrival in Malta, we were not informed about the renovation/construction at the hotel wall and every day from the very morning +/- 7.00 work with heavy equipment began - drilling, chiselling, etc. I believe that such information should be posted anywhere, because in this case we would definitely not choose this hotel.
Greetings,
The hotel is located very close to the beach and promenade as well as to the shops, restaurants and bus stops, so it is a great base for visiting the north of Malta. The room was well-equipped and we had a great view on the coastline and the sea from the balcony. The staff was super nice and the breakfasts were hearty and tasty. There is also a pool available on the 10th floor, so it offers a nice neighborhood panorama.
Had a wonderful stay in this hotel! The neighborhood is quite quiet, it's close to a busstation which is very convenient. The staff is very friendly and happy to help you out if necessary. The bed is very comfortable, the room has a good and quiet air-conditioning and was overall clean. The refrigerator in the room came in handy too to store our large waterbottles in, as you can't drink water out of the tap in Malta.
The hotel is near the bus terminal which is a big plus. The room was tidy, clean and cozy.
The hotel has a swimming pool and sauna and there is also one pool at the top but it is not warm.
There is a restaurant and a caffeteria where you can have breakfast, lunch or dinner.
The staff was very nice and helpful. We received some discount for the aquarium and indications on what we can visit in Malta.
.Great see view from our appartment on the 8th floor. Very spacy room. Very polite, caring personel. If any problems they were rectified very quickly. Parking inclusive underground. Very good cold and warm breakfast. Great infinity pool. Discounts from hotel for nearby restaurants and Malta aquarium. Hotel on the street but due to well insulated windows the room was very quiet.
With my girlfriend, we spent our holiday in Malta and one of our destinations was Buggiba. This accomodation exceeded our expectations. We've got a room with a balcony and a seaview. The room was nice, clean and comfortable. Staff was nice, breakfast was tasty, it's been served at rooftop with a pool what was very nice. Definitely I recommend this hotel. :)
We visited Malta many times, staying in various hotels, and Mayflower was a great surprise. Maybe it was a lot of luck involved but we had the best hotel experience in Malta at a very good price. A very nice room, excellent service (including late check-out), very good location in the heart of Bugibba and very good breakfast. We will definitely return.
The room had a good view and the bed was comfortable. The hotel was very clean and modern. The staff were helpful and friendly especially the bar staff.
The towels were changed everyday if you needed it.
The bus station was just a few minutes away making it very easy to get about the island
The architecture and history of Malta is stunning.
Flat was great good light, ventilation and all facilities. It was very easy to check-in/out, all instructions were clear and sent in advance.
Location is great, close to supermarkets and bus stops. Bugibba is a smaller place to stay, easy to get to Mdina, Gozo and Valleta. Thank you, we loved Malta!
The hotel room was clean and the facilities worked as well as expected.
Mark and Ildiko were excellent and friendly hosts and were always quick to offer advice on where to go in Malta or provide extra support to make our stay more comfortable. I had a wonderful time with my friend thanks to them.
The owner of the place was very helpful and kind, he reccomended places to see around malta which was very useful and we used the reccomendsitons. The neighborhood was quiet, and everything we needed was very close to the hotel. We had no problems with anything and would definitely come back😁
The rooftop was amazing for views over the ocean and the city. There was a storm the night we were there and we had some wonderful views of lightning, very fun! The room was larger than all of the others we stayed in in Malta. The breakfast was ok. Good location for walking to restaurants.
The apartment was super fresh and clean after our arrival. Rita was very nice, kind, welcomed us in the apartment and explained everything, gave us some tips around malta and was available 24/7. The bed was very comfy, kitchen fully supplied, tv and couch great. Nice modern bathroom.
This hotel is awesome—great location, exceptional service, and it’s very affordable, to my surprise. I had a room on the top floor, with a door to a rooftop and pool. The room was super clean, comfortable bed and a well-equipped kitchen. I enjoyed my stay there (September 2023).
I liked everything about this apartment, from location to amenities to staff. The bed was one of the most comfortable ones I slept in. I enjoyed talking to all the staff and I learned a lot about Malta from them. If I ever come back to Malta I am going to stay here.
Very friendly staff. Clean rooms. Good breakfast. Off season some of the lowest prices on Malta and definitely a great deal. In the summer the hotel changes names to Bora Bora and becomes a party hotel - Pebbles is not a party hotel.
My partner has family in malta and this hotel is maybe a 2 minute walk too them, its not far from the beach, there is plenty of shops around, the cafes are lovely in that area and great night life.
