The hotel is within walking distance from the airport which makes it super convenient. It’s clean and quiet but the best part is the helpful staff. One of the front desk people walked me to the airport at 4am because I was scared to walk in the dark. I was so impressed with this gesture of concern and care. Because of this, every time I travel to Romania I stay here the night before my return, and I also have my family who comes to visit me in Florida stay there as well. I highly recommend this place!

We arrived late at Bucharest airport, so needed a hotel in the vicinity of the airport for one night. Bucharest Airport Suites & Villas was perfect for that. The rooms are very spacious, clean and comfortable.
Communication with the owner was great. We were a group of 6 people, so Uber or taxi wasn't an option for us, since they carry max. of 4 people. Adrian arranged a transfer for us, and updated the pick up time due to our flight delay.
Explanations for the self check in are very clear.

The location is a 20-minute walk from the airport, so dragging luggage is not easy. There is a supermarket nearby which is very convenient. The house owner is very kind and the room is very clean. The shower space is small and the plastic curtain often sticks to you. It would be better if the kitchen has a microwave and toaster. Otopeni is close to the airport and with traffic these days, there is always that risk of being too late for a flight if you travel from the center of Bucharest. Many bus lines also can drop off people on the way to Bucharest at the airport. This location offers a lot of low cost, decent, accommodation with sufficiently numerous local cafes for relaxing before and after flights. I do not think it is difficult to get to the center from Otopeni and it only takes minutes to get to the airport. For me this was great due to early morning and late night flights.

It is a 5 minute drive to the airport. It is also close to the Therme water park (15 minutes), which was the perfect way for us to end our trip to Romania.
