Location is great - we arrived from the train station by taking a subway, there is a nice park nearby. Touristic pedestrian street with lots of street food and souvenirs is nearby. We took Didi to get to Panda Park, but there seems to be a transfer option available nearby, although we didn't use it. Anyway, if you have any questions you can ask at reception, everyone is extremely helpful and speaks fluent English. The checkout was very early for us before the breakfast started, so they even organized some snacks for us. We also booked a transfer to the airport in advance via booking.com messaging even before we arrived, they answer promptly. The room was spacious and had everything we needed: tea table, fridge with some drinks, water. You can get Euro socket adapter at reception if required.

This was a conveniently located hotel directly on the Metro line. It was relatively close to most areas, but then, with the Metro and inexpensive Taxi and Didi rides, everything is close. It's really nice that there's a small shop within 20 meters out the back door of the hotel. I can't say enough about Emily who went out of her way to message us on WeChat offering non-stop assistance and providing a plethora of suggestions on what to see and do, not only in Chengdu, but in our next city of Chongqing. The breakfast was alway delicous and plentiful, and again, the dining room staff were so friendly and helpful to us every morning. I know it doesn't matter to everyone, but we are in our late 60s and found free admission to the Panda reserve and most other Chinese national parks and venues.
