The breakfast was a delicious, the cocktails were great as well. The rooms are so nice, the bed is so comfortable and the overall experience was amazing. We highly recommend this hotel for a stay in Madrid. We have been to Madrid before and we love Plaza St. Ana - which is around the corner (coincidental) and our beloved book store from the desnivel magazine is 1 min. walk as well. Prado is a foot walk away as well the Plaza Mayor, the Opera, the Palace, Gran via, Chueca..... If we come back to Madrid again, for sure this is the choice :)

Lovely sized family room, great big bathroom with shower over bath. Good sound proofing - we heard nothing and slept late despite facing the street (4th floor). Air Con that works properly and responds when you make changes and not noisy. Really comfortable beds. Great hotel and great location!

Le Catalonia Puerta del Sol occupe un magnifique bâtiment du 18e siècle dans le centre historique de Madrid, à quelques minutes de la Puerta del Sol. everything. it was stunning. my favourite thing was the internal courtyard where I could have spent all day and. night! the rooms were lovely and clean. the hotel smelled amazing! if I could have bought the smell in a candle or diffuser I would have! the staff were so friendly and helpful. the location was fantastic, close to everything! we walked everywhere. I will only ever stay in this hotel in Madrid from now on

Situé dans le Barrio de las Letras, le Gran Hotel Inglés - The Leading Hotels of the World occupe un bâtiment du XIXe siècle. So far, the best hotel I have experienced in Madrid. Best location, everything clean, sharp, detailed, so much love from the staff, the best food near-by. I can't just say It has one flaw. It's the best in Madrid, has nice stores around like LV, Dior, Cartier, Valentino, etc. They have 3 enjoyable bars out in the same street with Latino music, nightclubs and more. You don't need to walk far to see everything good about Madrid. The food was good in the lobby too. They have Cardamomo in front of your doors to see Flamenco. And a delightful Tapas bar with the best Spanish taste.

Just around the building there are so many restaurants, coffee shops, groceries, bars, you name it! But beside all of this, at night it is very quiet outside. Also the room and toilets are very clean and comfy beds! The toilet looks brand new and, I'll say it again, very clean! 🥰
