Det nyrenoverade, 4-stjärniga Hotel Baia Azul har ett idealiskt läge, 4-minuters promenad från stranden i Funchal. Superbra läge. Restauranger och dagligvaror inom gångavstånd. Allt som man behöver till frokost och fin utsikt från restaurang. Ägg i massa varianter och små wienerbröd m.m. Mousserande vin om man vill göra mimosa är ju ganska nice!

Det 4-stjärniga Hotel Alto Lido renoverades 2018 och ligger i Funchals främsta område Lido, 2,5 km från stadens centrum. Hotellet var fint och välbehållen. Personalen trevliga och tillmötesgående.

Detta hotell är en del av semesteranläggningen Vila Porto Mare och har 4 restauranger, 6 barer och 5 pooler. Porto Mare har en stor tropisk trädgård vid Atlanten. The property is really big and has a lot of pools and amazing garden. Food was excellent. We got married in this hotel and it was perfect till the smallest details. Staff was very helpful and cordial. Our wedding and honey moon in this hotel was the best expierience for us. Huge thank you! We will be back for sure!

Vila Vicência ligger i Funchal, inom 7 minuters promenad från Praia do Gorgulho-Gavinas och 2,9 km från Praia Formosa, och erbjuder boende med en bar och gratis WiFi. Great location and staff, they are super friendly! If we come back to Funchal, we definitely are staying there again!

Set within a leafy garden, this hotel boasts an outdoor pool overlooking Funchal coastal cliffs. Pestana Vila Lido Madeira Ocean Hotel‘s studios are spacious and decorated with soft beige colours. The staff was really friendly, location is great, as hotel is right by the ocean. In the evening the sound od waves is the only thin one hears. Self service buffet breakfast was great, there is a lot of choises. When weather was good, you can eat on the terrace. And semi circular room gives beautiful views of the ocean and cliffs near Funchal. Would come again!

Meliã Madeira Mare ligger nära Funchals centrum och erbjuder utsikt över Atlanten. Här har du tillgång till gratis WiFi, inomhus- och utomhuspool samt ett spa. The staff was very helpful and friendly. Every late afternoon we received two pieces of chocolate. Location of the hotel is good. We parked in the garage of the hotel and it was free of charge. The gym is well equipped. Indoor pool is quite big.

Det nyrenoverade Allegro Madeira ligger i Lido, bara 5 minuters promenad från Funchals strandpromenad. There is everything what you need. Clean rooms and bathrooms, enough space and balconies for each room. Location is near the sea, there are plenty of stores and restaurants nearby. Personel is very friendly and professional. Breakfast was good, wise choice for one’s needs. There is also airport shuttle bus stop near the hotel, which is a great plus if you plan travelling with it.
