GA Palace felt like a luxurious home away from home - which makes sense, since the owner lives there and obviously takes great care and pride in his Palazzo. As it was my birthday we were upgraded to a beautiful suite, one of the nicest and most spacious hotel rooms we have stayed in. The staff were all friendly and helpful, the breakfast delicious and varied, the room lovely and comfortable, and the pool relaxing and much appreciated after a hectic 10 days in Portugal. It’s a beautiful boutique hotel with contemporary décor, and we were warmly welcomed with cocktails upon arrival, which was such a nice touch. Our deluxe room was incredibly spacious! The shower was huge and very comfortable, and the bed was equally large and cozy, ensuring a great night’s sleep. The food was both generous and tasty, and the staff was kind and welcoming.

For anyone who likes a variety of choice at breakfast that is fresh, abundant and interesting, it is highly recommended. The setup is great and innovative, modern, warm and Staff are also quick at replenishing whilst being attentive too, to any questions clients may have given the very attractive layout and display of food. The room was very spacious, really well lit with lots of light options, a great view and extremely central to Porto. Close to all major vantage views, the Cathedral, the Louis bridge and everywhere else is within walking distance...whilst also being away from the superbusiness of the crowds and yet so close to all the hot spots. Also use of the Metro...a few metres away (Sao Bento), whilst the transportation systems in Porto are very efficient and easy to use.
