The location is good cause it’s only a 1 minute walk from MRT (Yellow Line) Phawana station. The hotel owner is very kind and friendly, he provided useful information to me as it was my first time visiting Thailand. The drinks in their Cafe are also remarkable. Also, room price is fair. Overall, I strongly recommend this hotel.

Set in Bangkok, 4 km from Emporium Shopping Mall, Somerset Rama 9 Bangkok offers accommodation with an outdoor swimming pool, free private parking, a fitness centre and a garden. Everything about this hotel was exceptional. I stayed with my spouse and my 4-year old son for 10 days and it felt like home away from home, primarily due to the excellent and hardworking staff. The room was quiet, the bed was comfortable, bathroom was spotless clean, and the accessories given like soap and shampoo were of high quality. The breakfast was excellent and had a wide variety of western choices and local dishes, an Omelette station, and availability of different types of coffee. The pool was great! My 4-year old thoroughly enjoyed the pool and the cute play room that is on the same floor. The location is absolutely one of the best as it's right next to the Jodd Fairs night market (less than 10 min walk) with great Thai street food options. There's also another night market that is just a 5-min tuk tuk ride away. There are also two malls close by. We got a suite that had a living room and a small desk/office space outside the bedroom that really helped. The kitchen was stocked with dinnerware and cutlery. In addition, dish washing soap with sponge and detergent for clothes washing was also provided as the room had a washing machine too as one of the amenities. They also provided bottled water on daily basis... and did not charge extra for it. When we checked in, they had stacked the fridge with some goodies for us, again at no extra charge. As much as the facility, the location, the cleanliness, the amenities available and the comfort was exceptional, the truly outstanding part about this place is their staff: the great people at the reception, the security personnel, and the awesome team in the restaurant during breakfast. If a hotel has hired good people, then you are bound to have a great experience. And this is the case with Somerset Rama 9. Highly recommend.
