Conveniently set in Bangkok, Sindhorn Midtown Hotel Bangkok, Vignette Collection by IHG provides air-conditioned rooms with free WiFi, free private parking and room service. Firstly, the service from the friendly staff was amazing. The location is also very very convenient and there is a 7-11 right outside (and another 2 storea within 3mins walk...) where a lot of guests seem to enjoy a saunter out for ice cream and drinks and refreshments at night. The BTS and skywalk is a 7min walk away and at the end of the street is a shopping mall with pharmacies and lots of dining options. This was the main reason we chose to stay here. Secondly, and perhaps the highlight is the breakfast service which is amazing and not to be missed! You can make special requests , e.g. we could ask for Thai milk tea and ices coffee in takeaway cups, and ask for certain food items brought to you which are not on display such as fresh coconut cut and brought to us from behind the counter (which you may have to pay for). The waiting staff and kitchen staff is super attentive. The only downside is that despite there being a lot of tables, it can be very busy between 9am-10am, and you will have to wait a while to be seated, however if you come back at 10.30am it should be fine though. They have a wide selection of food items and cater to all dietary requirememts. Thirdly, as a couple we found the room to be very comfortable, clean and well serviced by the lovely staff. They provide lots of water bottles (we always found ouraelves with 6 bottles by the time we came back to the room). There is a full length mirror and a vanity mirror too which helps us look our best when we step out into the lobby! There is no problem with cleanliness and the airconditioning and room purifier works a treat and is not noisy at night. As for the ac/power outlets they are actually universal so you do not need to bring power adapter plugs. There are plenty of usb plugs also to charge your phones and tablets and I found myself having needlessly spent money on plug adapters.

Blending Thai hospitality and stylish décor, the award-winning 5-star Pathumwan Princess Hotel - SHA Extra Plus Certified - SHA Certified is located just next to MBK Shopping Centre and opposite Siam... Everything was perfect. Everyone in the hotel is so kind and nice. From reception, staff on breakfast, fantastic lady in tourist agency in a hole of hotel, lady for massage which came to our room...absolutely wonderful people. Breakfast was excellent. Restoran / I don't remembered name/, near reception with European food was excellent. My daughter and I were surprised that was sooo nice in this hotel. We will come back.

The luxurious Centara Grand At CentralWorld is located in Pathumwan, a 10-minute stroll from Chidlom BTS Skytrain Station. Big on Thai hospitality, it offers an outdoor pool and 9 dining options. Location is excellent! Staff were nice. We didn't take hotel breakfast, so, don't know how to comment on that. Room service food and other foot outlets were very good!

Nine Design Place is set in the Siam district in Bangkok, 200 metres from Jim Thompson's House (Museum). The rooms are equipped with a flat-screen cable TV. Great location, within walking distance to MBK, BTS and etc. Great hospitality from the owner and her staffs. This hotel has no parking lot yet she allowed me to use her car park spot. Mango and sticky rice as a warm welcome was very touching.
