This home stay exceeded all my expectations. The area is really clean and well maintained. There’s a huge patio by the river in the mangroves with a lot of hammocks, seating areas etc. breakfast was superb with many options which partly changed every morning. The owner is really wonderful and happy person. Location is near the beach and if you don’t want to walk there, you can always take one of the many free canoes that the accommodation provides to its guests. You can also canoe on the river deeper into the mangroves if you want. They also rent scooters here. I read others review’s about hard beds, but I stayed in one of the rooms by water and at least that bed was really comfortable and cotton sheets really soft and’s pillows good. Definitely will come here again :)

Suan Maprao Ko Kut Resort is located in Ko Kood, within a 4-minute walk of Ao Ngamkho Beach and 5.5 miles of Klong Chao Waterfall. Coconuts are arrival were a nice refreshing touch. Best of both worlds because although you’re not on the beach you are close by and a motorcycle takes you everywhere and then and then back home to your coconut grove. Lit at front reception is very helpful and his English skills are amazing! Fresh espresso and the breakfast is amazing! Central location. My only suggestion is yo allow VISA card payment and it was near perfect! Room was cool on arrival! Perfection!

Mangrove bungalow & restaurant offers accommodations in Ko Kood, a 8-minute walk from Klong Chao Beach and 4.8 miles from Klong Chao Waterfall. We loved the place, close to minimarket, night market, beach or waterfall (by kayak or walking). I loved the stones on bathroom floor. The breakfast was amazing - we love soup for breakfast (also western options available). We would love to come back.

Located in Ko Kood, a 3-minute walk from Klong Chao Beach, The Mermaid House provides accommodations with a garden, free private parking, a terrace and a restaurant. It was perfect! The bungalows are small, but for us was perfect. They have a restaurant at the reception, which was really convinient. There are dogs on the territory. They were really friendly and everyone played with them. The accommodation is 5 minutes away (by walk) from the beach, which is again, really nice. They rent scooters. A bit expensive (300 baht/day), I saw with 250 in another places, but it is more convinient, if you are staying there, to rent from them. They also offer helmets, which is really important. The stuff is very helpful and nice.

We stayed in the wonderful Baan Panseng Bungalows for a week. We liked everything very, very much! This resort is owned by a very friendly and kind family. Everyone is very responsive and friendly. The service is top notch - everything is done with soul, with a smile and respect for the guest. By the end of our stay here, everyone here became almost family. ❤️ The location is wonderful: the bungalows are located almost in the very center of the island, 15-20 minutes walk (and 5 minutes by bike) from the very beautiful Klong Chao beach. To the northern and southern beaches it takes about 10-15 minutes by bike. It feels like the bungalow is in the forest, from early morning the birds sing loudly - these are incredible sounds of nature! The bungalows themselves are very neat, with large open verandas. Inside it is clean, everything you need is there: a large bed with a strong mattress, super silent air conditioning, a refrigerator, a hot shower, an electric kettle. A few more shelves in the room and bathroom, it would be perfect. Breakfasts are great, filling, there is plenty to choose from. And in general, the hotel restaurant cooks very tasty (we ate only Thai food), you can feel that everything is prepared from fresh products and by talented chefs. People even come here to eat from neighboring bungalows. And the Thais themselves come here for the hot pot (if you are here, be sure to try it). It is delicious here, the portions are large and inexpensive. You can also rent a motorbike here. We got a brand new black Honda Click, on which we rode through the most beautiful places of the island. Renting a bike is very simple - you pay money, take the keys, without any hassle with documents and international driving license. :) There are five cats on the territory of the resort, all very affectionate and friendly. Our favorite was the peach plush Chaa Tai, we did not let him out of our hands and squeezed him a lot.:)* We will definitely come back here next year! 🙏🏽❤️
