This Tribeca hotel welcomes you with a complimentary glass of champagne on the weekends and offers free WiFi. Canal Street underground station is 1588 feet away. The rooms could not be any more cozy. It's perfect for someone looking for something different, but not overly done. The location was perfect for me, the staff was incredibly hospitable, and the food and drinks were top notch!

Located in the Tribeca neighborhood of Manhattan, this hotel is just steps from the Canal Street Subway Station and offers free Wi-Fi in every room. The staff was very welcoming. I arrived early and they held my bags while I went to work. Once I checked-in, the TV in the room had my name in it (nice touch!). The room was very clean and spacious and the bed was heavenly. I also liked the breakfast to go option. I also was very grateful that they held my bag after I checked out. The location was perfect, next to a subway station and near lots of restaurants and bars. Overall, I'm extremely satisfied.

Surrounded by art galleries and shops in the lively Tribeca neighborhood of lower Manhattan, this hotel offers TV and free Wi-fi Rooms at Sonder l Duane Street are furnished with hardwood floors, and... Let's be honest. New York is not a cheap city to visit. You either pay an arm and a leg for central accommodation, you sacrifice quality, or you move way out into the suburbs. Thankfully, Sonder Duane Street meant we didn't have to compromise much at all. Reasonably priced (compared to other central Manhattan properties), Sonder is centrally located and super easy to get anywhere else either by foot, subway or bus. It's clean, cosy and the staff could not be any friendlier or more accommodating. From the moment we phoned from abroad to ask questions before booking, to the warm greetings each day, they are an absolute credit to the hotel. Furthermore, the lobby 'bar' is a nice common area to get fresh water, pack bags or chill out before or after a long day. While the rooms are not serviced daily (you can request this at extra charge), staff are more than happy to send fresh towels on request and as you're more than likely to be spending all day out and about, it doesn't take much effort to keep your room tidy ;) Some other reviews have mentioned traffic/subway noise, however we didn't really notice it. Plus, you're in the middle of one of the biggest urban areas in the world, so have to expect that! Our room was well-designed with a comfortable bed, good shower, hairdryer, iron + board and a small fridge to stash our craft beer and wine finds. Importantly, the wi-fi was also pleasantly fast and reliable. It was summer when we visited, and the room temperature was absolutely fine throughout. Following our experience, there is honestly not a single negative thing that we can say about the property and we won't hesitate to book once again whenever we make it back to magnificent New York. The only 'suggestion' I'd make is that stays of 5+ nights might avail one free room cleaning on a day of their choice, but this is hardly a big deal. Thanks to the entire team for such a wonderful stay <3
