The property is around 800 metres from Shusseinari Shrine, 700 metres from Ancient Orient Museum and 800 metres from Koyasuinari Shrine. Private parking is available on site. I’m a fan of the Dormy Inn chain and this must be my favorite so far in terms of location. It’s a bit of a walk to Ikebukuro Station but you do pass through Sunshine Dori which is very lively so it’s not bad, I hardly felt the walk. And then from Ikebukuro Station you can go anywhere. If you’re an anime fan, the hotel location is perfect as it’s literally a few steps away from a bunch of K-BOOKS and Animate. The airport limpusine also stops at a nearby hotel so that’s a convenient way to get to or from the airport. Other than location, facilities are excellent: fully-equipped public bath with a fun little shampoo bar, free ice cream, free ramen, free yogurt drink, coffee machine, vending machines, luggage weighing scale, even money exhange machine! The staff are nice and they allow you to leave your bags at the reception before check in or after check out. Everything is extremely clean.

Great location with a short walk to both Akihabara and Okachimachi stations as well as Ginza line. Impeccably clean and well-kept, and the staff was very friendly and helpful. Free washing machine with detergent, dryer cost 100 yen/20 min so doing laundry was easy. Good sound proofing in the rooms - couldn't hear anything from the other rooms and only very little from the hallway.
Chuo Ward, Tokyo
Conveniently situated in the centre of Tokyo, Dormy Inn Premium Ginza provides air-conditioned rooms with free WiFi and private parking. This 3-star hotel offers a 24-hour front desk and luggage storage space. Guests can use the spa and wellness centre with a sauna, and hot spring bath, as well as a restaurant. We stayed one night at the Dormy Inn and wish we could have stayed longer. Our beautiful spacious room was on the top floor, Japanese design/style but with proper beds (not futons). The room felt like an apartment, with plenty of room for myself and my two grown up daughters. We had a small balcony with views of the tall buildings of Ginza surrounding us. Our room also had its own private Onsen – small but two of us fitted into it quite comfortably. We also used the hotel’s residents’ Onsen located in the basement – this was lovely. We were surprised and delighted with all the freebie items on offer from this hotel – there were nuts, biscuits, soft drinks, ice creams, beers and more on a help yourself basis – thank you! From its location in Ginza, we walked a few minutes to the heart of Ginza where we were spoilt for choice in terms of restaurants and shops.

Excellent location- walking distance to Sensoji shrine, great choices of restaurants & close to train station. I took the bus from airport. Then drop off point was Asakusa view hotel, which was 15 min walk from the Ryokan. The place was clean, & the staff were very helpful. I enjoyed the Japanese style room with a tatami mat.
Everything was great! I loved the traditional japanese style room, the tatamis were clean and comfortable, the room and bathroom had everything we needed, we loved this place!
Good location and nice staff. I was surprised by the japanese style shower, onsen, which is really nice to have after a full day visiting.
The service is good. The atmosphere is amazing. You can fill the traditional Japanese style anywhere.
V close to the airport, which was handy as we flew in at 10.30pm and getting through customs took AGES. They say check in is until midnight so I got cold sweats trying to call to warn them that we would be delayed and nobody was picking up. Thankfully there was somebody still at reception (there’s actually somebody there all night) and it’s only the front doors that close and you have to ring the bell. We also liked the public bath, which closes at 1am. A Japanese style good scrub then a hot soak after a long flight : nothing better.
The traditional Japanese style entrance is very welcoming. The room size is good with the clever use of bund beds. Public bath is a big plus. Staff are friendly. Great location.
pretty good place especially thanks to the price they offer. the closest subway station was slightly less than 20 minutes from the hotel which isn't really too bad all things considered i opted for the japanese style room which was alright, it was my first time sleeping on a futon and it was ok i had seen others comment on their backpain but i stayed there for 10 days and i didn't really have any issues myself personally
The Japanese style room . The dinner and breakfast arrangements.
Clean, cozy three-floor-house in japanese style with generous amanities including towels, shampoo, body wash, electric cooker, electric coffee pot, refrigerator, laundry machine, beam tv, etc. The host is very kind too.
- It's a small-ish independent hotel which was quite a change of pace after staying in big chain hotels - The room was proper Japanese style (futon beds, raised flooring, etc) which was on my vacation bucket list - The host was awesome, spoke excellent English and gave us tips for the area - The washing machine and dryer were cheap and functional
