Excellent breakfast. The omelettes on the menu are outstanding. Staff takes very good care of people with allergies. Rooms are beautiful and quiet. Slept very good and calm. Spacing at a football stadium is unique.

It is a new hotel and a bit quirky in the decor and in an amazing position a short stroll from the castle the royal mile and restaurants… the staff also were amazing so helpful we had a 5.30am leave and they asked the night before if we would like a coffee to take in the taxi … we did and it was waiting for us

Super comfortable bed and modern bathroom in a gorgeous historic building. Lovely personal touch with a snacks goodie bag and available toiletries. I had forgotten my toothbrush so the convenience of being able to get one at the property was a bonus! Great view over rooftops to the ocean.

Absolutely fascinating city with a lot of history and culture. People are warm and welcoming - and helpful when you need assistance and/or direction. This is our second visit to Edinburgh - and we will surely be back once again.

Super city with lively people, lots of eateries and places...

Super city with lively people, lots of eateries and places to see. Royal Mile to castle; Arthurs Seat and Museum of Surgeons particularly fascinating. Portobello beach easily accessible by bus or walking or cycling. Dinner at the Palmerstone was excellent. So was the walk to it along the river and through Dene.

loved it all. incredible city. great history. beautiful architecture. wonderful friendly people. safe and clean, easy place to visit for a solo female traveller, fabulous food and coffee and pastries, i ran in the edinburgh half marathon when i was there. such a fun and well organized event. walking the city is so easy, i took to the bus to Rosslyn chapel which was a great day trip. double decker buses so fun and clean and easy

I loved everything about Scotland from.the cobbled roads, the flight of steps between buildings and the gothic buildings. I visited the castle, rode on the hop on, hope off bus. I realised I could walk to the castle, but two days of hopping on/off was great value for money, snd the discounted tickets to the castle. We ate at The Ivy which was recommended by a place in Marlow. Bella Italia was a choice when it poured in rain, we sheltered whilst waiting for a table. Parts of Edinburgh reminded me of the hilly part of Lisbon Edinburgh is beautiful and I will be revisiting the city.

I had two full days in Edinburgh.

I had two full days in Edinburgh. I experienced Edinburgh Castle, the Royal Mile, the National Museum of Scotland, and the Scottish National Gallery. All of it was amazing. I really enjoyed pub food and an Italian restaurant. Do not hesitate to get an Uber. Obviously two days is not enough time to really see Edinburgh, and it was not the focus of my two-week hiking trip, but I'm so glad I was able to spend two days there.

Lovely city - rich in history...weather (in the summer) was fantastic! It's a family friendly destination. It gives you the feelings of "Scotland" specially with the "beautiful castle". It's a bit expensive - but in general, worth visiting.

We went to edinburgh for my birthday trip. Stayed in this hotel. When we reach hotel we were welcomed by lovely lady charlotte. She was so helpful and polite, making sure we had all information that we need. The place was nice and rooms were big enough. Food option for breakfast was good too. Definitely recommed this place. Not too far from city centre.

I like this place - the staff are really helpful and it is a comfortable, clean and affordable place to stay near to the city centre where hotel prices soar and you don't get any more for your money. Recommend the hotel for a great stay in Edinburgh, and the parking is handy even if they have put on a price on it more recently, but still affordable.
