Good location. Friendly and super-helpful staff. They did not speak English, but that matters less nowadays with translate apps on everyone’s phones. Great breakfast. Nice view of the karst out the bedroom window.

1) This boutique hotel is locate Lujia Village is a small village on the bank of the Reed Flute Scenic Area and the Taohua River in Guilin. Lujia Village is only 2 kilometers from the center of Guilin. It is one of the first 16 famous villages in Guangxi. They are also known for making tofu. 2) The hotel staff always went over and beyond for us. They helped us book our tour tickets, get a taxi where ever we were, prepared food that we want, and even did online shopping for us. They made the impossible possible for us especially when they were able to find the shirt that my son has been looking for. 3) We didn’t have to travel outside the village to find home-cooked dinner meal , especially after a day of sightseeing! Just about 3 minutes walk from the hotel is our favorite family restaurant. We ate there every night. 4) The inside of the hotel is newly renovated. It gave a vibe of simplicity and functional. I like that they have bathtubs in the rooms that we got. We even had access to the rooftop! 5) Their breakfast is so customizable! They always ask us what if we have any requests the day before breakfast. I personally enjoyed the Guilin Rice Noodles. What an incredible first experience in China!

The vibe in general. Very friendly and welcoming. Tried to help us in any way possible. Especially enjoyed the small talk during tea time with the ladyboss. It's a calm and quiet place. The rooms were spacious and it was not missing on anything.

This was a charming family run (I think?) in on a quiet little island off the main road in Northern Guilin. Everything was clean and comfortable and the owners made a great breakfast for everyone - choice of “Western” or “Chinese”. They also offered services like free use of motor scooters (super fun!) and free laundry. You had the sense you were in a quiet little neighborhood with kids playing games outside and little restaurants a short walk away. All delightful.

Very helpful and responsive. Could speak English. Have suggestions for what to do in the city and a map. Arranged airport pick up and boat tickets and transfer. Room was comfortable and clean, convenient to walk around the city but not in a busy or noisy area.

Located near main Guilin attractions on Rong Lake with historical artifacts and traditional tea leaving you feeling immersed in Chinese culture! Room was spacious and clean with gorgeous picture window overlooking the lake. A variety of options for breakfast included a taste of traditional Guilin rice noodles! Staff were so kind and helpful with suggested activities and bookings. Fantastic home base for day trips to surrounding attractions like Longji rice terraces and Li River cruise!
