Utilizing the technology, this 4 star quality hotel check-in and out process is done online and the staff at the hospitality desk are there to make sure the experience is unforgettable. Everything was good. Big plus the food hall with very tasty dishes. Also breakfast was nice!

Very well located, right in the town centre, but out of the noisiest road. 5 min walking distance to Food Hall, a venue with several restaurants and a bar. The room was spacious and comfortable, the breakfast - superb 😋 There is a spa which we did not come to try (3000 kr for the guests) and a gym (very tiny). Super comfortable place!

Parking is spacious and free of charge for the guests of the hotel. The price for value was super good, taking into account prices in Iceland.

Frost and Fire Hotel’s rooms feature bright, modern décor and work by various Icelandic artists. All have wooden floors, large beds and a private bathroom. Some rooms offer views of the River Varmá. Our 2nd visit. Booked at the last minute, whilst staying in Reykjavik. So pleased we returned. A beautiful place to stay, friendly and helpful staff, a lovely river view room, an exceptional evening meal, a soak in the hot tub. Then, we saw the lights! Just perfect.

Great breakfast, location was also great - easily driveable when renting a car. Was lucky enough to spot the northern lights.

Reykjavík city centre is within 45 minutes’ drive from the hotel. We loved our stay at ION. The staff were all so friendly, it was a very relaxed vibe and there was always someone there to talk to if needed. We loved our meals there. The lava spa was lovely, the pool and sauna are so peaceful. We managed to loose our purse on the way home and the incredible team had it brought back to us in the city which was so unexpected and incredibly kind.
