In general, I have visited many resorts in the close Busua area (as well as many other resorts in Ghana), but Afro Beach is genuinely something completely different. It is a unique combination of place (calm, quiet, untouched), housing (new and done thoughtfully with a passion), and personal (especially the owner - Francis - who is one of the most interesting people I have met). His motto (that he wants people to be happy) is not just a phrase. He can provide anything you want, also walking with you to a party in Busua or to Butre and so on and so forth. So, don't hesitate to visit Afro Beach; even Francis' story and personality are entirely worthy of doing so.

This tent's standout feature is the pool with a view. The tent has a private bathroom, air conditioning, a minibar, as well as a seating area with a TV. Zaina lodge is stunningly situated looking over the park. The room was large, clean and comfortable. The food was tasty and the service was great. We did two safari's with our tour guide Mousa who was extremely knowledgable about all of the wildlife and the park in general.
