Die Lage Ware super und das Highlight war die Giraffe Tiki, die zwar frei in der Wildnis laufen kann aber überwiegend am Zaun der Lodge steht und gestreichelt werden möchte. Die Besitzer der Louge retten ihr Leben mit 7 Tagen, weil ihre Mutter verstarb.

Das Gelände ist wunderschön und nur ein paar Schritte vom Strand. Auch das Restaurant ist zu empfehlen. Alle sind sehr freundlich, ich habe meinen Aufenthalt sehr genossen und komme gerne wieder!

Sie haben sich wie eine Familie um ihre Gäste gekümmert und bei allem inklusive An- und Abreise sowie Planung und Durchführung von Ausflügen unterstützt. Das Essen war sehr gut und vielfältig und wurde nach Wunsch zubereitet. Immer wieder wurden auch außerhalb der Mahlzeiten kostenlos Leckereien zum Probieren gebracht. Die Ausflüge mit dem Kanu in den Mangrovenwald mit ausführlichen fachkundigen Erläuterungen werden in Erinnerung bleiben. Die perfekte Wahl, wenn man an der Natur sowie Land und Leuten interessiert ist und eine besondere Zeit erleben möchte.

For my needs and expectations, everything was fulfilled, even beyond the measure and initial expectations. The location of the campsite is great, right next to a river full of life (hippo, crocodile, lots of birds and Dik-Dik antelope right in the campsite, ...). The camp staff is just as wonderful as the food offerings. Comfort and equipment in the tent are more than enough for me. The possibility to charge the batteries and even the reach of the wifi signal, which is otherwise only available in the common areas of the camp. The campsite is very close to the Talek entrance gate, so it's really just a short off-road drive to the Masai Mara reserve. No more than 2-3 minutes. Drinking water is available all day and you can take it in your own bottles, even for a day-long game drive expedition. That is a very nice offer. Likewise, the attitude of Mustafa, the owner of the campsite, is very great! I definitely recommend this campsite and I definitely want to come back to it again in the future. However, what could definitely be improved is the stability of the power supply, which is apparently powered by an external generator and has been switching off/dropping quite often. And every morning it turned off very early, despite the fact that it was still dark or dim.

Jede Zelt-Lodge ist etwa 26 m² groß und mit 1 Queensize-Bett oder 2 Einzelbetten ausgestattet. Die Unterkünfte befinden sich auf einer schattigen erhöhten Plattform mit Blick auf den Fluss Talek. The staff was accomodating and friendly, food was very good and our safari guide, Dominic was the very best guide we have had after several trips to Africa.

Peal mara was excellent! super friendly staff, responsive, polite, helpful. The tent was luxurious, clean, comfortable, safe! There were people walking us back and forth in case wildlife appears in the way. Sunset and sunset views were also top. The people working there are always available to accommodate your every need. The whole place is built in respect to the surrounding nature. The safari driver, Sietoti, and Rachel, a trainee, were experienced and educated, and was able to identify every corner of Maasai Mara and provide rich information about nature and wildlife during our daily safari game drives. A truly amazing duo who made our trip unforgettable. They really took care of us. Also, the food was delicious, chef was excellent! I would definitely go back again!

The fireplace is a top feature of this tent. The well-equipped kitchenette has a stovetop, a refrigerator and kitchenware. We had a warm welcome from the staff and felt right at home. This place is exceptional. The host helped us plan the game drive and our shuttle service from Nairobi and back. The house was clean and is beautifully designed. The staff were at our availability and our meals were well prepared. It was all just positive and an unforgettable experience.

I had a wonderful experience staying at this cottage December 2024 - January 2025 (1 week)! The location is absolutely perfect, making it easy to explore the area. The staff was incredibly helpful and supportive, always ready to assist with anything I needed. The cottage itself is beautiful, providing a cozy and comfortable atmosphere.
