The tent provides air conditioning, a private entrance, a terrace with garden views as well as a private bathroom featuring a bath or a shower. The unit offers 2 beds. My favourite days in Sri Lanka. Peace, nature and a generous and warm host. The safari Prasad arranged was perfect - lots of elephants, a beautiful lotus lake, black- faced monkeys, lots of birds and only 3 other jeeps in the 4.5 hours. The rooms are clean, with a hammock next to a little stream, iguanas, peacocks, monkeys and eagles in the garden. Prasad's mum's coconut rotis are the best I had in my 3 weeks and the room and safari were great value. Thanamalwila has few tourists so unspoilt and the family will help with everything from bus bookings, travel advice to taking me to see a friends farm to see crops growing. The buses from Ella and Galle stop directly outside the homestay so it's really easy to get to. The safari is in Blocks 5 and 6 of Yala. If you want a peaceful safari then I highly recommend Prasad's place.

Guests will have a special experience as the tent offers a pool with a view. Excellent location! The staff were exceptionally friendly and accommodating. Special thanks to Chamara, Shan, Dilshan, and the entire team for making our stay so enjoyable.

The fireplace is the standout feature of this tent. This tent has a seating area, a balcony, an inner courtyard view and a shared bathroom. The unit has 1 bed. Phenomenal! Tommy has something very special going on at Delft Village Stay. The accommodation, facilities, vibe and island itself are excellent. I can't recommend this place enough.

This features a super luxury tent with private plunge, pool and private tree house. This tent has a seating area, air conditioning and electric kettle. We absolutely loved our three nights at Tribe Yala. The property is remote enough to feel peaceful and in the middle of nowhere but once you have driven down the entrance road, it is actually close to the national park. We had a Sloth Bear tent and it was beautiful and stylish. I particularly loved the private pool and deck - it was so peaceful and relaxing as we couldn’t see or hear anyone else from our own tent area. The staff at Tribe Yala were the absolute best - so humble, kind and professional. They truly went out of their way to make sure we had everything we needed for a perfect stay. My only regret is that I didn’t book our safaris through Tribe Yala - their vehicle and manager/driver looked so much more comfortable and professional than the one we booked externally. Tribe Yala is a unique experience - I wholeheartedly recommend a stay at this beautiful luxury tent resort.

Atha was the perfect location … the accommodation is so cute… small huts by the river… but beautiful…with patios and hammocks and awesome views .. this place is a bargain for the price! Just a feast for the eyes… staff accommodating…delicious dinner..one of the best dinners in all Sri Lanka.. can bathe in the river or just enjoy the view. We were very late arriving and then our safari was delayed but staff were fully accommodating through it all…This is a place where wedding engagements happen..it is that awesome

Tents are situated in the cave with direct views to the waterfall and the swimming part of the river. Linen is provided. Amazing home cooked Sri Lankan style food, beautiful natural pool, spectacular views nearby the stay. Kitulgala is famous for toddy, ask Mona (who manages the stay) for a bottle or two.
