Agnes deserves a special mention, as she went above and beyond to ensure I was looked after nad made me feel so at home. The location is beautiful, with stunning lake-side views to wake up to. The rooms are also finished to a very high standard, with sumptuous bedding which was very welcome after the hours spent hiking and trekking in the forest! The hotel is about an hour's drive by car / moto taxi from Nyungwe Uwinka reception where most walks/treks begin, which made it the perfect place to start from. I hope I will return again one day. Thank you for making my time in Nyungwe so special.

Great views of the forest. Food was delicious and staff very friendly. In the evening, we sat around a bonfire - perfect for the cool night. Also tea plantation on site but we weren’t able to do that because of weather.
