Very close to the dusty main road to Arusha, and close to the kili Airport, this beautiful, high-end home stay was a real treat to our family. The fresh and unique meals, prepared at the house, and the insightful tour in the nearby village were wonderful!

The setting couldn’t be better — peaceful, scenic, and just steps from the sea. The Big Blu Diving Centre offers a wide range of activities for both divers and non-divers, making it ideal for all interests. The food was varied and delicious, and the service throughout was exceptionally attentive.

The tent includes a shared bathroom equipped with a shower, a bidet and slippers. The unit offers 1 bed. Stayed here after a Safari and before climbing Meru. Was an excellent place to stay - cozy, beautiful, and with very generous and warm hosts. We had an afternoon walk around the entire area guided by one of the hosts (where the farmers gifted us some free eggplants (aubergine) that they were harvesting), and then a very nice dinner cooked by them. By the looks and sounds of the place after speaking with them, they are new to this eco-cabin business, but have great plans to expand and make it even more impressive for tourists who come through and want to experience the calm, quiet, and very naturally beautiful areas of Tanzania. Very worthwhile staying here!

Everyone went out of their way to help me. They even waited with me in the dark for my pickup. Very accommodating with meals and excellent food.

The staff are so accommodating. Excellent food. Amazing service. Too much money and I hope that they can help the maasai community more where the lodge is located. They receive no benefit from giving up their land for the lodge to use.
