The room was competently clean, the bed was super comfortable. I also liked very much the little kind touches here and there across the room. The house owners are doing their best to meet your expectations and needs starting when you enter the building. They are very friendly and helpful. Big plus, the breakfast was excellent too!

The Beeches hotel is a small family managed hotel with a nice personal touch. It is a welcome break from the anonymous large hotel chains where you are just a number. The rooms are very comfortable. I had a pretty large room with windows towards the great Western Road (you could hear the traffic but it certainly wasn't too noisy). It included a nice small tea making facility (which was not strictly necessary as the common room downstairs was accessible at any hour and included provider variation of teas and an excellent espresso machine). John gave me a very warm welcome and was extremely helpful during my stay. I certainly wish I had reason to stay longer :)

Excellent facilities through out. Great value for money rate which includes breakfast. Selection of Cereals and fruit plus full hot breakfast. On Main Road a little away from city centre - about 15/20 minutes walk. Quiet location. Aberdeen is city full of history, culture and architecture. Would highly recommend a visit to the city and the Alba Guest House.

The little shared kitchen is fully equippend, incl. fresh fruit and hot water tap. Just really thought through what guests might want or need which really makes a difference after a long day of exploring.
