Cairn Bay Lodge is in extensive gardens overlooking Ballyholme Beach. The villa is ideal for visits to Belfast and Ards Peninsula.

Cairn Bay Lodge was named 'Guesthouse of the Year' in 2006 and 2007 by NI Tourism.

I had a seaview room which was glorious. I had coffees, teas, hot chocolates and a little penguin and some tayto crisps waiting for me on arrival. There were shampoos, conditioners and beautifully scented body washes too. I didn't expect breakfast to be included but the home made granola, fresh coffee and orange juice were just amazing and the setting, second to none.

Lovely little touches throughout and essentials like milk, bread and butter (as well as a bottle of wine) left so that we didn't need to rush out as soon as we arrived to be able to have a drink...and breakfast the following morning. Pauline was very quick to help with any questions or snags. Great stay.

This is a Victorian style guest house with all the mod cons as well. Great location just by the seafront. Comfortable room, the bed was so comfy too.But what made my stay special were my hosts, Sonia and Gavin, who were simply brilliant. Sonia’s breakfast menu was not your usual fry up, which for me was great. There was a varied selection of healthy, nutritious but none the less delicious offerings. They were so friendly and welcoming and great craic as well. Thank you folks for a great stay!

Lovely guesthouse in a great location. Our room on the top floor was spacious and warm with comfortable beds and a nice view of the sea in the distance. Breakfast was haute - with fresh tasty ingredients presented with style. We enjoyed scrambled egg with home grown green onion and tomatoes; homemade pancakes with high quality melted chocolate; and a flavorsome aesthetically pleasing smoothie bowl. Hosts Sonia and Gavin were super attentive and their commitment to minimising negative impacts on the environment remarkable.
