Great location in the center and also close to Yoga Barn. I liked the swimming pool. All Staff were extremely friendly, welcoming and helpful. Big asset to this hotel. Arim at reception was especially friendly and caring.

This place is amazing. New facilities, a swimming pool that feels like a private one (only 6 rooms at the moment), good breakfast and room and the best value in town. We stayed in a few places in Ubud and would definitely come back here. It is not location in Central Ubud but it is a walkable distance so not a big issue

The location was great because we could walk to everywhere we planned. It was located in the middle of Ubud but it was on a quiet street with a view of the "jungle" :) The breakfast was delicious and the staff was really accommodating. The property is as beautiful as it looks in the pictures.

Fantastic place in the centre of Ubud! When you enter this garden enclave from the crowded Gautama Street (Jalan Gootama) through a narrow, almost "secret" passage, it feels unreal. The host's house and the four vacation rental units encircle a beautiful small garden with Lord Ganesha statue, all is green and peaceful, water quietly splashing in a exotic fish pond ... Each unit offers a furnished porch, so you can relax there and observe authentic Balinese family life and traditions. A tasty breakfast is served every morning right on the porch. The rest of the unit consists of a large bedroom with AC, and a really large bathroom with shower. We must also add that Wayan, the host with profound knowledge of Bali's culture and natural wonders, is very kind and helpful; he is also a yoga teacher, although our time in Ubud was too short to explore this opportunity.

We had an enjoyable stay at Buana! The pool was nice, room was comfortable, staff is super friendly and the location is close to the main road but it is still quiet. The breakfast each morning on the balcony was a bonus! Would recommend when staying in Ubud!

Amazing value for the money! The room is nice and comfortable with great internet connection. The location is perfect, in a quiet area walking distance to the center and to many restaurants. The staff is amazing, we really felt like at home! The breakfast is also great and you can choose between different options.

The location was perfect! This place is located close and far enough from the crazy streets of Ubud. The rooms were big and super clean. The area is surrounded with beautiful rice fields and good restaurants. Good place was a great place to disconnect and take it easy. Wayan and his staff were super welcoming and nice. I would highly recommend this place!

Masakali was absolutely amazing. We spent our honeymoon there and couldn't have picked anywhere more perfect. The villa was gorgeous, especially the pool and hammock with beautiful views overlooking the rice fields. The place was very clean and looked after and the bed was probably the most comfortable I've ever slept in! The staff were wonderful and attentive and looked after our every need and nothing was too much trouble for them. The location is a bit outside of Ubud centre but it was perfect being in a more quiet and authentic part of Ubud with beautiful surroundings. Honestly the only problem with staying here was that we never wanted to leave the villa! Thank you so much to Ira and everyone at Masakali for making our stay so special :)
