He also recommended a great leather shop where we picked up amazing jackets. To top it all if they have happy hour every day and we slept amazing every night. Would highly recommend.

Location was great - a short walk from S. M. Novella train station. We didn't need much for breakfast - so some fresh fruits was perfect for us. Room was clean and comfortable. Mario was very helpful and flexible with dropping off luggage ahead of check-in and also checking us out earlier in the morning so that we could catch an early tour before we left Florence. If you like burrata, we had a burrata sandwich which was just delicious and creamy from Mario's Panificio just downstairs.
