It looked idyllic from the outside. It had beautiful flowers, the choice of colours used were flattering to the cabin, and it had an outside table and chairs. The inside was really lovely. It was very cozy, comfortable and spacious. The decor was tastefully done. The bed and sofa were comfortable. The kitchen was lovely and fully equipped, as was the bathroom which had a good strong shower. The lighting everywhere was perfect. There was a good choice on the TV. It was very peaceful and quiet, with good sturdy blinds. It was easy to access with a coded lock, we felt very safe and secure. The host had very kindly left snacks, drinks, sauces etc which was a lovely touch and much appreciated. Both were great to communicate with, and were very helpful. We wanted to experience staying in a cabin in Alaska and this totally exceeded our expectations. We would certainly stay here again and would highly recommend it. We absolutely loved it.

We had an absolutely wonderful stay at the Alaskan Wild Rose Bed and Breakfast in Talkeetna! From the moment we arrived, we felt so welcomed and at home. The property is peaceful, beautifully kept, and surrounded by the natural beauty of Alaska—perfect for a relaxing getaway. Our room was clean, cozy, and very comfortable, with all the little touches that show how much care has been put into the space. Everything was spotless and thoughtfully prepared for guests. A huge highlight of our stay was our host, Holly. She was warm, attentive, and incredibly knowledgeable about the local area. Whether it was tips on where to eat, what to see, or local history, Holly was always happy to help and share great suggestions. Her hospitality made the experience feel personal and memorable. If you're looking for a place in Talkeetna that offers comfort, charm, and genuine Alaskan hospitality, we highly recommend Alaskan Wild Rose. We’re so glad we chose to stay here and would return in a heartbeat.
