Cottage shows its history in a good way. It was cold at night and the heating was definitely adequate. We chose not to light a fire but nice to have that option. It was also nice to see local kangaroos (perhaps some wallabies too) and cockatoos. We catered for ourselves mostly and kitchen had all we needed. Great too, to have a washing machine and dryer.

I loved staying at Dunkeld House. It is beautifully renovated and furnished with everything needed for a relaxing weekend away. I stayed during winter and the house was warm and cozy. The huge windows look out onto fields and open space. The front of the house overlooks Mt Sturgeon in the distance and it’s stunning. We walked through the adjacent sports field to have dinner at the Royal Mail Hotel.

Everything! Very comfortable - stunning design Everything for a few day stay was provided ! Love the fireplace with the big supply of red gum wood and kindling. The host thought of everything !

This place is a cute little cottage and is very charming inside, with extra touches throughout. Items such as handmade blankets in the lounge room made it very homely and we loved the old style kitchen. Great location in the main street and handy to everything.
