Even better than it looks in the photos. Loved the comfortable furniture and beds and the fire place was a massive bonus when the evening got chilly. While it is slightly out of town, we enjoyed exploring during the walk in. Everything was easy and we appreciated being met and shown around by the lovely owners. I would recommend to anyone.

The property was more beautiful than the photos in the listing. This home/mansion in Bayeux was recently renovated with a beautiful chef's kitchen that included top-notched, new appliances and all of the kitchen tools needed for preparing your meals. The enormous living/dining room was charming with comfortable seating and an easy-to-use large television. The bedrooms were well-appointed with nice linens and comfortable beds. The newly remodeled bathrooms were charming, modern and clean. We appreciated the two Miele washing machines, along with the single clothes dryer. We visited Bayeux in March and the weather was cool so we did not use the outdoor garden area, however, it too is very charming. There were four of us (two couples) and plenty of room to spread out. The property is centrally located, within walking distance to restaurants, shops and historic sights. Communications with the owner were excellent, In a nutshell, the property couldn't have been nicer.

It’s quaintness. The furnishings were perfect for the style of building. A totally beautiful house with all the amenities you would need. Close enough to town to walk and a Carrefour just up the road for groceries. Perfect.

This is a wonderful apartment in the most amazing location in Bayeux. You get a living/dining room and kitchen, then two bedrooms on the next level, then two more bedrooms on the top level, with a bunk bed in one. Significantly, there are three commodes, a tub, and a shower. For our group of seven that made a big difference in getting ready to go out each day. The kitchen is superbly equipped with everything you could need (Refrig, microwave, oven, cooktop, etc), to include a drip coffee maker and a Nespresso original….with some cartridges on hand! The Bayeux Cathedral is about a two minute walk away. You also have a fantastic view of it from a few windows. Check them out at night! The Bayeux Tapestry is perhaps a 7 or 8 minute walk. Within a six minute walk there were boulangeries open daily at 7:00 am to get a cappuccino and croissant for breakfast. Every shopkeeper was friendly and helpful. There’s also a grocery store open from 7:00 am to 9:00 pm daily. You can’t beat it. There are numerous restaurants in every direction….just remember that they all have different evenings to close so check first. I had questions a few time and texted the owner through Booking.Com and always received just the information I needed within a few hours at most.

The pictures really don't do this place justice. It have been newly renovated to a very high standard inside. There was everything you could possibly need in the way a practical stuff. E.g. herbs tea coffee towels toilet rolls. The living area is spacious and everything was on the same floor, great for the older person! The garden is a pleasant place to relax. The people who own the cottage were so helpful and only live 5 mins down the road so if we had any problems, they are there on hand. Highly recommended and yes we will be going back

It's very clean with an interesting layout (beds upstairs on a creaky landing) and with the basics you need for self-catering your stay. The location is superb; Rue St-Patrice is part of the main medieval thoroughfare in Rouen. You're ten or fifteen minutes' walk from the main historical sites, and across the large parking lot opposite the apartment, there's the Saint-Patrice bus station -- no. 120 goes out to Colleville-sur-Mer/Omaha Beach.

We made full use of the self catering setup with a dishwasher and washing machine. Entry was via keys in a lockbox. The owner kept us informed and we left the keys back in the box for an early departure. A lovely location for visiting Bayeux and the beaches.

This hotel is an easy and quick walk from the train station, and to meet up area for guided tours and restaurants. We stayed two nights and wished we could have stayed longer.
