The toiletries, the amenities… everything was just as good as any high end hotels. Oh last but not the least, there’s a hot tub in the house you can enjoy.

Situated in Kirkmichael, Strathardle Lodge has a fully stocked honesty bar, guest lounge and free WiFi as well as in-house Cake School. Great accommodation. Very Helpful, friendly staff, were able to accommodate late check in and good breakfast.

The communication before our stay was fantastic. We were travelling with two children, both ASD. Elaine was absolutely fantastic with my boys. Highly recommend this property to anyone travelling with children. The room was comfortable with everything we needed for our stay.

We had a corner room and the natural light and windows were wonderful and beautiful. Also location! We walked to downtown instead of driving. It was a 20-25 minute walk and it was perfect. Even at night we felt safe walking on the street back to our room. Parking was around the back (first come first served) or on the street for free on the weekends.

The room was so beautiful. Amazing bed. Amazing and spacious bathroom. Everything clean. Reception staff was very kind and helpful. Housekeeping was leaving us chocolate bars every day. Great environment overall and very close to some convenience stores, pubs, restaurants and bus stops. In just 20 mins you can be in the scenic downtown of the fairytale like Edinburgh. Recommended.
