I liked everything! In particular, I liked that you use a proper staircase to get to the top bunk, not a ladder - very convenient, especially if you have blisters after long hours of walking the Camino. Interior looks new and of good quality. You can wash and dry your clothes in a machine for only 4 euro, and there are a lots of dryers if you want to just let your raincoat dry without washing. Supermarket is just a minute walk away, and there is food that you can buy on the premises if you don't want to leave the hostel at all (pizzas, ice cream, snacks). Two terraces are open for you, and host Kevin is very attentive and friendly. Breakfast was also included, and food selection was awesome! So this place is solid 10/10 from me.

The first thing I noticed was the setting. I hadn't been sure what to expect, but when I saw the grape vines in front of the house and walked up the driveway and saw at the top an inviting terrace with other guests (mostly Camino pilgrims) I was so happy. Nuria is a warm and kind host and she has created a really wonderful environment, thought about all the details. She showed me my bed (a curtained bunk), and the common area with a simple kitchen and a generous spread of teas, biscuits and fresh fruit. I mentioned I was getting some blisters from walking and she gave me a basin and salt to soak my feet. Everyone I met staying that night was very happy to be there. I wish I had booked a second night so I could have spent a rest day there.

It’s a classic hotel room turned into a hostel room (two bunk beds). I guess for people who need more privacy it might be a bit uncomfortable. I’d still say that it’s a better choice than a traditional hostel. A bathroom is much cleaner, more comfortable. It’s quieter and beds are VERY comfortable.
