The accommodation features a shared kitchen and free WiFi throughout the property. Amazing hostel in Pavones, perfect for surfing as it's literally 3 minutes walk from the main surfspot. Comfortable dorms and great kitchen, super well equipped! Charlie was super helpful and gave me great advice to always chose the right board (he has a very good selection of boards to rent). Last but not least, the vibe at Esperanza was great, I really felt at home there!

I sincerely enjoyed my time soaking in the nature and wildlife. There is so much hiking you can do, I recommend staying at least a few nights to enjoy it thoroughly. A special thanks to Ron the owner for his kindness and the other volunteers and guests for a beautiful experience. I look forward to coming again!

The units at the hostel come with a shared bathroom and bed linen. The good: Chill, new, laid back hostel. A minute walk from the beach. We stayed in a private room. It was very clean and quiet at night and I had the best sleep! Room was cool enough with efficient fans and mesh over the windows to keep bugs out. Clean bathroom, well equipped kitchen. The host, Sebastian, was friendly and easy to talk to. He has put a lot of work into making a beautiful accommodation.

The location is perfect, just steps away from snta Tere beach, where you can enjoy magical sunsets and the relaxing sound of the ocean. The vibe is calm and authentic, perfect for disconnecting and enjoying the “pura vida” lifestyle. Everything was very clean, and their sweet cat added an extra touch of charm

At the hostel, all rooms are equipped with a terrace. At Surf Shack Room #1 each room is fitted with air conditioning and a private bathroom. The location was fairly quiet as there wasn't much road traffic going by. There was AC and the shower had hot water, which my wife loved. The kitchen was an ample size and had everything we needed; even Tupperware to keep our extra food so we didn't leave it in the pans. The rooms didn't feel cramped and had shelf space to put our things. The beds we're comfy and the towels were soft. The covered common area outside the kitchen was a great place to eat and for my wife to work. We would stay here again.

At the hostel, every room comes with a desk and a balcony with a garden view. All units at La Muñequita Lodge 2 - culture & nature experience are equipped with a private bathroom and bed linen. The most unexpected highlight of our visit was our stay at this fantastic workaway farm. The place is a wonderland of exquisite plants and wildlife. Our hosts were simply wonderful from the moment we arrived. The cabin blends into the landscape, with open windows on all sides. The sounds and scents of the farm just filled the air and made for a very cozy hideaway. The beds were comfy and the hammock on the balcony was a real bonus. We even had a pet dog for our visit! Workers on the farm are from all over the world and provided us with excellent company and conversation during the family-style dinner we all shared in the main house. Our hostess prepared easily the most delicious meals we had during our entire tour of Costa Rica. She even prepared banana flower, which is wonderful. Unfortunately, heavy rain prevented us from exploring the farm further. But the time we did spend there was very memorable. I wish we'd had more time to stay. Highly, highly recommended.
