Great place to stay, I was sad to leave. Awesome facilities, nice kitchen and social dinning area. Lovely reading room with a fire and dogs for company. I felt very at home. Great location too. Nice and clean, comfortable beds with curtains for privacy. It was a lovely hostel, I would 100% recommend to anyone visiting the beautiful Killarny.
Beds were super comfy, lovely and nice. Kitchen was well equipped, living room was amazing - lots of books to choose from, comfy, quiet and very beautiful. THe whole hostel is very well equipped, comfy and felt very safe and just like at home. One of the best.
This has to be one of the most beautiful hostels I've ever seen. The common room feels like a prohibition-era speakeasy, and the dining area is equally charming. Oh, and they have their own chicken coop. I was also pleasantly surprised that the bunk beds have a curtain, which is nice when you feel like taking a nap or reading privately before bed. The staff are so helpful and kind. The Black Sheep Hostel is a must for any solo travelers passing through Killarney.
Cheapest accommodation we found by at least £100 for 3 nights, rooms were clean, good showers that were hot and powerful, heating in there room, there was a working TV but we didn’t need it, room was safe and lockable too. Easy to access the property and also was in town and minutes walk from everything you’d need, the beds were really comfy too, check in/out was simple and easy and we felt very welcomed.
Killarney railway hostel was not as bad as other peoples reviews.. Its not up to the modern high tech of other hostels Great location 5 mins walk from train station and town centre.. Toliets and showers fairly clean no mould or dirt with plenty of hot water... Beds are comfortable.. Over all not so bad... Stayed in worse places.. I will be returning to killarney railway hostel..
Great location and cosy vibe in the common area. The apartment itself was really quaint and homely. The hostel is also a cafe, and is popular by the locals for it's great coffee.
The best Hostel I have ever stayed at and I have used hostels through out my travels around the world.
