Guesthouse Iwase is set in Toyama, 2.2 km from Toyama-kō and 14 km from Toyama Family Park. I love traveling around Japan on a bicycle and rarely stop in hotels, hostels, or guesthouses. I usually sleep in a tent or on a bench at a roadside station. But this time, I decided to stay in this Guesthouse Iwase to rest after my hike to Mt. Tsuguri-dake. I'm very pleased that I stayed in this wonderful place. The guesthouse owner is very friendly and caring. Right from the beginning, he showed and told me everything. The guesthouse has a very comfortable living room, a very clean shower, and a quiet shared room with 4 beds. The air conditioning prevents me from experiencing the heat outside. Due to the rain, the guesthouse owner offered to store my bicycle at the entrance, for which I am very grateful. I was able to ride the bicycle available for rent. The bicycle very comfortable and good. I rode to the center of Toyama to see the local park and sat at Starbucks. In the evening, in the living room, we sat down with the guesthouse owner and other guests, sharing our impressions of the day spent. I highly recommend this guesthouse. P.s. I also liked the house. It's in a Japanese style with european elements (the room for four people).

Featuring a garden, Guesthouse Kazura is located in Nanto. Among the facilities at this property are a shared kitchen and a shared lounge, along with free WiFi throughout the property. It was located in a beautiful location out in the countryside full of critters for my son to enjoy and birds and cicadas for us to listen to. The interior of the traditional home has been updated and is clean and attractive. We were there in the middle of summer when the sun rises before 5AM and the curtains in the bedroom were dark enough to keep the light out. This was much appreciated! Most importantly, our host and his family were welcoming and friendly, even bringing a musician to put on a small concert one night we were there!

Great base for exploring the Tateyama Gorge, across the street from Tateyama station. The hotel and rooms are modern and updated. Bath was nice also. The staff were wonderful and kind. They had a private room with futon mattresses that were very comfortable. It's also a great cafe during the day, with tasty drinks and ice cream.

The staff is very kind, and give great suggestion. They are very chill and open to help you. The general vibe is super nice. Bed were very comfortable!. I loved it!
