Porto Santo Destination bevindt zich in Porto Santo, op 4 minuten lopen van Praia da Calheta, en biedt accommodatie met een tuin, privéparkeren en een gedeelde lounge. I had an amazing time staying in Porto Santo Destination hostel! It was so calm and quiet, perfect space to wind down and especially during low season you get the ultimate perk of having basically no people at the beaches ;) Sofia the host was super friendly and helpful... couldn't have wished for a better place to stay. Nice kitchen and facilities! Just keep in mind that you have to do groceries etc in the centre, as there's only a small restaurant around (which is cheap and good though). And it's a different island than Madeira itself, not everyone may know this ;)

The Waves Hostel is gelegen in São Vicente, op 1,7 km van Strand Sao Vicente, en biedt een gedeelde lounge, rookvrije kamers, gratis WiFi in de hele accommodatie en een terras. Phenomenal and one of the best hostels I've ever stayed at! The owners are two brothers originally from Brazil and super nice! They're fluent in English, Portuguese, and probably other languages too. The hostel is as clean as it gets. They have all the nice simple touches like free good quality coffee, towels included, nice sheets, comfortable beds, private curtains for a privacy in single rooms, and many dehumidifies which is a must being literally on the beach. The hostel is cleaned well and often. The best part for me is it attracts quality guest's who are polite and not very noisy at night. The parking is plentiful and safe. The views for sunset are stunning. The beach vibe decorations are a nice touch. Would definitely stay again! HIGHLY RECOMMEND having a car if you stay here! It is quite remote compared to other cities on the island.

Came here as a stranger, but when I had to leave felt like I am a part of the “tribe”, amazing hostel, perfect for solo travelers. The atmosphere and the working staff was amazing! Madeira Surf Camp ligt in Porto da Cruz, aan de noord-oostelijke kust van het eiland Madeira. Funchal ligt op 32 km afstand en er is gratis WiFi beschikbaar. We loved our stay at Madeira surf camp a lot. It’s very clean and the kitchen has everything you need for cooking, additionally it’s cozy and great for connecting to other guests. The terrace is a great place with a beautiful view to relax. Thanks a lot, totally recommend to stay here!

Dune Beach CoLiving bevindt zich in Porto Santo, op een paar minuten lopen van Strand van Porto Santo, en biedt accommodatie met een tuin, gratis privéparkeren, een gedeelde lounge en een terras. It is an incredible place to stay, its peaceful and beautiful! Definitely the place for those who know how to do co-living, are considerate of others and the environment - this is perfect for you!

29 Madeira Hostel set in the centre of Funchal, Madeira Island. The property offers budget accommodation in dormitories and private rooms. It was my first hostel experience and it hasn't disappointed me! Everything was perfect. Extremely helpful staff, well equipped kitchen, cute terrace, clean and nicely decorated, lovely group of people. Next time in Madeira will stay there again without any hesitation! Thank you, guys!

Santa Maria Hostel is gevestigd in een traditioneel en historisch gebouw in de oude binnenstad van Funchal. Dit boetiekhostel heeft een vintage inrichting. Great hostel in old town of Funchal. Steps away from restaurants and the market, as well as cable car. Clear check in instructions were given if arriving late. Had a kitchen, several bathrooms, seating area etc. bed room had lockers and locks provided. Wi-Fi worked well. The staff were friendly. The hostel itself seemed to be a historic building and had cool design.

Casa De Cha Prazeres is gelegen in Prazeres, op 25 km van Natuurzwembaden van Porto Moniz, en biedt accommodatie met een tuin, gratis privéparkeren, een gedeelde lounge en een terras. De gastheer is me in deze accomodatie het meest bijgebleven. Heel persoonlijk en warm ontvangst. Hij was er niet altijd, maar hij was heel bereikbaar - zijn gsm-nummer ligt op de toonbank aan het onthaal. Het huis zelf was redelijk 'kaal', niet echt warm aangekleed: veel tegels, weinig decoratie, enkel het noodzakelijke :-) Toch was dit een prima stop in onze vakantie. Het ontbijt was zeer fijn, de gastheer deed er alles aan om aan onze wensen te voldoen.

Jaca Hostel Funchal is gelegen in Funchal, op 9 minuten lopen van Praia do Almirante Reis en heeft een tuin, een bar en uitzicht op de zee. The hostel is great! Amazing staff, trust and non problematic atmosphere. The smoothest check in. I met there fanatic people, that straight away became my family. I got a single bed in mixed dorm that was super comfy and i have enough privacy.
