Beautiful beaches (man-made) and turquoise waters. Nice kind of Ibiza vibe going on with the beach clubs. One downside is you need to hire sun beds at 98% of beaches (no room to just rock up and put your towel down). Cost for this vary with time of season but min. 10 euros for basic to 50 euros for "instagramable". Food and drink excellent and relatively cheap. Loved it.
Loved it. The place was beautiful, the pictures don’t mke it justice as to how good it is. You literally have the sunset to admire either at the pool, or patio or even your private balcony. It’s well located and a bit more to the “not so many people” side of Ksamil which made it awesome. The people there were super nice, Lele was lovely and her chocolate cake at breakfast cured my hangover. I definitely want to go back some day. The beaches here are fantastic—Kristal Beach was our favourite, with plenty of sunbeds and easy access to hotel facilities. Bora Bora was a close second! For lunch, we loved Mr. Chicken for their tasty gyros, and both Castle Restaurant and Roman Restaurant were great for dinner too. A special shoutout to RRappa—the pork shish kebab was hands down the best meat we had all trip! This is a picturesque beach resort with many nice restaurants at very reasonable prices, although as we found out later, you have to be careful on prices.The beach area is beautiful and clean but every area is chargeable. We were there in low season which for us was fantastic, I can imagine it getting over busy later on. Had a wonderful 3 days at Poda Boutique Hotel in Ksamil. Our stay exceeded all expectations as the people who work there are unfailingly pleasant and helpful. Beaches separated into little sheltered bays, perfect for sunbathing and swimming. Water is beautifully clear and family friendly. Boat trips easy to book, restaurants and bars are great value, and the staff are friendly and accommodating. You can easily walk round the whole of Ksamil (if its not too hot!) Day trips to inland national parks etc easily reached from here. We tried lots of restaurants and they were all fantastic, and spent a lot of time in particular around the Black Pearl beach restaurant using their sunbeds....all the staff there were so good to us. While you are staying in an extension of the hosts' home, you feel like you basically have your own house. Everything is very quiet around the place, just the occasional cat, dog or cattle making some sounds. The place is kept clean and you enjoy all the facilities you need. Also, you have a huge garden and are very close to one of the most quiet beaches of Ksamil.
