Links Lodge is situated at The Dunes Golf Links, one of Australia's top public golf courses. The lodging is located on the Mornington Peninsula, where several high quality public golf courses are located. I started playing golf at The Dunes in 2007 on my first trip to Australia and have regularly played there on many trips. The stylish rooms offer good space and have modern shower and plumbing fixtures. The nearby clubhouse offers a menu with good breakfast and lunch.
Golf tee times can be reserved, unless the stay is booked at times when course is closed to public play, such as when large multiday tournaments are held. I've found it possible on most trips to the area to get tee times at The Dunes. I usually stay at a small cottage nearby but this time it was unavailable part of my stay. I would consider the Links Lodge at The Dunes for another stay on future visits.
There are in room safes offer an extra layer of security for those concerned about safeguarding travel documents.
The lodging is fairly new and opened in the last few years. It is separated from the main clubhouse by a short distance and each unit has parking which is separate from common parking areas. My room was a two minute walk to the restaurant and clubhouse.

The house is so cute and lovely! And the staff is so kind, give me a lot of information of the ferry and the hot spring! Also helping me carry the luggage since there is no elevator. And the breakfast is really delicious 😍

Cottage is totally separate from the main house which works well for both owners and guests. Accommodation was made for our very late arrival. Very roomy with everything one needs. Location was an easy walk to the beach and close to the golf course which is why we were there.

The house is stunning and breakfast was delicious, as if Charles had come from Master Chef. Charles and Lorraine are wonderful hosts with some fantastic facilities on site. I will definitely be making a return visit when I have more time to relax and soak up the atmosphere.

Although initially disappointed with our caravan park as it had no ocean view I was later happy with location. It was short walk to foreshore and shops. Easy access to road leading to Sorrento.
Rye unfortunately does not have access to jetty as it is still under reconstruction.
Playground etc for kids, nice beach.
Heaps cafes of all nationality on highway opposite beach.
Driving from Sorrento where the ferry comes in along the coast was scenic.

There were many beaches to choose from for a quiet dip in the ocean. Not may dog friendly beaches and definitely not enough dog poop disposal bins. Rye is lovely for families, campers and younger people. My mother in law struggled with all the walking. Loved the hidden treasures and nature reserves.

Loved being close to the beach and also other sites within the peninsula. We went to the hot springs (great to go for the twilight session) and did a walk to Bushrangers Bay in Cape Shank. There are good places to eat in Rye and also close by.

Just Beautiful. Very Spacious and Well Appointed.
Just Beautiful. Very Spacious and Well Appointed. Better than we expected! Fabulous View! So very Happy with everything 🙂. Great access to Beach, Supermarket, Cafes & Restaraunts. Will be back 100%.
Excellent accommodation. Super comfortable and spacious room, came with an added sitting room as well. Very clean and neat. Located on a quiet street , yet within easy walk to the beach, the Rye pier and the shops. Great base to explore the peninsula. The breakfast was superb - best in Rye - the scrambled eggs were like pillows of clouds perfectly lightl seasoned with a touch of chives, with perfectly cooked mushrooms and tomatoes which enhanced their natural sweetness.
Charles was really accommodating and nice. We requested for a later check in time at 7.00pm, it was an easy process. We got the apartment, it was such a beautiful room upstairs complete with a large balcony, romantic spa bath with candles and bath crystals and a king bed. The breakfast menu was extensive and delicious! There's also cute resident fur-babies, Coco, and Max who loves pats. Really made my day! <3 We will definitely stay here again when we revisit Rye.
Everything. From the moment of meeting the lovely reception staff, I knew we had chosen the right hotel to stay at. The spa in the room was amazing, so relaxing. the bed was like sleeping on a cloud. The couch in the room was so, so comfortable. The Outdoor spa was perfect, did not want to leave. location was flawless. so close to absolutely everything :) Thank you Rye Hotel for such a wonderful stay! Cant wait to come back soon!
Loved the place, everything you would need: amenities, comfort, modern design, spacious with a great balcony view over Rye beach, great location as well, easy drive to Point Nepean National park or Cape Schanck, close to Woolworths and some restaurants. Seamless check-in & check out. Great host, easy to reach and was very helpful responding to my wife’s extra request, thank you :-) Highly recommended place to stay.
The studio is under a two-story home that appears to rent other areas of the house as accommodation also; so we came across other guests that weren’t residents I believe, but the studio itself felt private.
It’s in a very handy location in Rye, on the Mornington Peninsular, close to beaches and cafes and has everything required for a short stay. The bathroom was particularly lovely.
A long weekend in a quiet and relaxing retreat was what we were looking for and it was exactly what we found: we spent hours in front of the fireplace enjoying the cozy atmosphere, the rain outside did the rest. A spacious house with a comfy bed, a nice garden, a lovely solution for a couple of days in the Peninsula. Last but not least, the comms with the owners were just lovely!
The room was nicely decorated for a hotel room, with a beachy theme; the bed was comfortable and the room had what we needed for an overnight stay. Across the road from the beach. The staff member we met was friendly and the room was very clean.
Good hotel with nice kitchen and big bathroom. Free hotel parking with roof. Nice public place in front of the hotel with restaurants and shops. And beach just outside of the road!
The apartments were clean, neat, and the location was great. Walking distance to Rye's bay beach, main shops and food eateries. Wifi was restored on second day after request.
Both the hotel and service was amazing. All the staff went above and beyond. Very clean and great value for money. I’ll definitely be coming back. Highly recommend!!!!
