The non-town natural setting of Mayers Point generally and Aleda House in particular with terrific views overlooking Myall Lake through the trees that surround the Lake's edge is a big plus for this property and also has all the features to provide for a comfortable stay.
It was great to walk around Mayers Point that is within Myall Lake National Park and to see the remains of an old timber getting tramway located near Aleda House - Aleda House was named after a steam train named Aleda, in turn the name of the wife of the tramway owner.
The two person canoe that comes with the booking was a terrific way to explore Myall Lake.
Aleda House is fitted out with a full range of cooking facilities and includes a gas BBQ on the large deck.
While there is one other property reasonably close to Aleda House they were very quiet and great neighbours - there are no other residences on Mayers Point
