Location: The location is 10 minute away from mountain viewing spot, but actually 30 minute walk for fall viewing spot.
Food: 10 minute walk from nearest cafe. Since we did not drive, so we either call taxi or order deliveries for food.
Price: We have 3 people staying for 1 night, and 2 people (me & my mom) for 2 nights. So we chose the 4 people payment when we initially booked the room (as they only have either 2 or 4 people payment plan on BOOKING). Later I requested for refund. The front desk lady at retreat asked us to contact BOOKING.COM. Now BOOKING says the retreat does not respond. That is really bad service.

Love the look of the place very much modern
Michelle is a star - warm and welcoming upon check-in. Great recommendations of the area and what would be great for the evening. She definitely deserves a raise.
The bed was comfy and the bathrooms were huge. The air conditioning worked a treat.
We stayed in King Room facing the road. No road noise - a lot of ambient light due to the sign but the curtains blocked it out.
Surrounded by 2 acres of gardens, the 5-star Lilianfels Blue Mountains Resort & Spa is a grand country house providing luxurious accommodations in the Blue Mountains.

Great local shopping centre with cafes and plenty of food...
Great local shopping centre with cafes and plenty of food choices including The Lemon Grocer supermarket for self catering. The Fed cafe and Bakery Patisserie Schwarz were delicious. Plenty of parking. It would be difficult to get around without a car to drive to accomodation and local attractions.

Conservation Hut offers great views and a fabulous menu and wine list.
For an evening meal I'd fully recommend the Avalon in Katoomba . Sensational food and cocktails in a quirky re purposed picture theatre.
Local art gallery/gardens also worth a visit

So many hidden gems within driving, walking, running, biking...
So many hidden gems within driving, walking, running, biking distance, I only wish I had the ability to stay longer. Would highly recommend taking a trip to see Blackfellow Hands, or more local to Wentworth falls take the walk to see Empress Falls (not suitable for those with mobility issues). Scenic World was the initial reason for us staying in Wentworth Falls, but this was a huge disappointment for us considering there are so many free and beautiful alternatives. Scenic World is awesome for those not able to walk long distances or access areas that require unassissted mobility, otherwise a waste of money.

Wentworth Falls is fantastic.
Wentworth Falls is fantastic.
Unfortunately a LOT of track closures following an extended wet period which has resulted in unstable cliffs in places- Worth a bit of research as things may change at short notice. National Parks posts maps showing which areas are closed off- sadly most of these are unintelligible... would be nice if they simply marked up what you CAN do right now. National Pass has been closed for some years and following tragedy last year the lower passes have been closed- I believe Parks are doing some work to upgrade.
Still, the walk down to the base of the Upper Falls is not to be missed... even if you do have to retrace steps rather than making a circuit..
Conservation Hut closed, seems to be under renovation- BYO picnic!

Wentworth Falls has a couple of great cafes, we visited Fed twice for breakfast as the food and service was fantastic. We also picked up quite a few groceries from The Lemon Tree Grocery store. Such a beautiful store, very clean, beautifully stocked fresh produce and a great selection of unique items and very friendly staff. The bakery cafe was another great find, bought some yummy sourdough to bring home. The walking tracks of Wentworth Falls are a must while visiting this part of the mountains. Gets very busy on the weekends but it’s not overcrowded and there’s plenty of space for everyone. If you’re looking for a restaurant for lunch or dinner we would recommend Tempus at Katoomba. We thoroughly enjoyed a long Sunday lunch after a morning hike to Wentworth Falls. The use of Australian ingredients in all of their menu, including drinks, makes it extra special.

Great views and walks of various distances on offer.
Great views and walks of various distances on offer. Beautiful area in the Blue Mountains. Village consists of one small street (Station Rd) with limited shops and facilities. If you want pubs/restaurants to add to your walking/trekking experience then this is not for you.

Kitchen! It's a fully functional kitchen with more than adequate equipment, cutlery and utensils. Beautiful landscaping that makes the cottage Instagram-able. Laundry facilities are effective and helpful. The living room has very comfortable sofas and arm chair, making family gatherings warm and comfortable. The host is very friendly, kind and helpful too. The cottage is nested in a quaint and quiet area, easily accessible to Blue Mountains' popular tourist sites/ lookouts by car.
Spacious and well furnished property overlooking the mountains. Beds were cosy and included heated blankets which kept us very warm during our winter stay.
Close walk to Valley of the Waters Lookout which connects to a great hiking trail towards Wentworth Falls.
Fireplace and telescope were great additions to the enjoyment of the property. Firewood was also provided despite us being told to bring our own.
Extremely friendly and helpful staff.
Lovely old building. Free EV charging. Very nice food at the restaurant, particularly the pumpkin ravioli! Can get busy so you may need to book! Room 15 was comfortable and quiet with a nice modern bathroom. Location is an easy walk to train station and village shops. I would suggest a stop at Swartz Patisserie before or after a walk around Wentworth Falls Lake.
It is a great location - in walking distance to shops/restaurants on Leura Mall. You can even walk (20mins) to Gordon Falls parking lot and trailhead which is perfect for hikers. The property was the perfect cottage with everything you needed. It is the same price as a hotel yet you get much more - space, full kitchen, comfy beds, porch to sit on, etc.
Location is excellent base for exploring the Blue Mountains National Park. Wentworth falls were an east walk. Close drive to Katoomba where there are more restaurants and stores but Wentworth Falls has some nice restaurants very close by. Water is safe to drink and good tasting. EV chargers on site for 2 Teslas
The hotel was clean and warm although modest but the price was reflective of this and we didnt spend much time in the rooms. It was a quick drive to all of the attractions and eateries the Blue Mountains has to offer and the staff were friendly and happy to help with questions and recomendations.
Very nicely decorated house. Comfy beds. Clean and in good condition. Quiet street with good off road parking for a few of cars if required. Kids were glad of wifi. Wentworth had a nice village feel to it and loved the FED café. Easy travelling to most Blue Mountains attractions
Great location, super comfortable beds, brilliant house with lots of different living spaces. Quiet location . Great communication from host. Beautiful deck and loads of windows so could let the breeze in. Didn't need the aircon at all and it was a hot weekend!
The fireplace, two balconies, and the spa! It was a relaxing night stay to celebrate my wedding anniversary! It was just a short walk to the wentworth Falls lookout and trails. It was worth all of the walking! I will definitely be back!
View was fantastic, the house is set up really well and had everything we needed to enjoy the view, relax by the fire and unwind. Great location right next to beautiful Wentworth Falls walk and the pretty Leura for coffee and shopping.
The location was stellar, quiet, literally next door to the trail heads at Wentworth Falls, gorgeous views of the mountains and bush, private and well appointed. A short drive to Leura and Katoomba. Well be back!
The food was pretty nice, it was what we needed. We loved the location because it was nice and calm and we could walk around the area. It was also close to the Wentworth Falls and we loved everything.
The breakfast was fantastic, the views were exceptional, room was clean and pleasant with comfortable beds, champagne and bar fridge. Loved the spa bath. Really great location, loved my time there.
Fanatic location and super beautiful house to stay....the spa is such a blessing after a day of bush walking....we will definitely come back for next visit to Blue Mountains ☺️
