Townships in the Tablelands region include: Atherton, Mareeba, Herberton, Millaa Millaa, Ravenshoe, Yungaburra and Malanda. With an annual rainfall of around 1400mm, Atherton (The most central town), and its immediate district, are a lovely tropical green.
