House is comfortable, well equipped kitchen, close enough to walk to shops, beach etc. Dog friendly. Good to have access to kayaks etc (although didn't know that before arriving). Although it doesn't have air-con, it has a lovely breeze & cool deck.

No instant bookings. Before your booking is fully accepted we will contact you. Please dont think your booking is accepted until we personally advise you its accepted. This is because we do not accept credit cards, (most accomodation websites say they accept credit cards but that is only a virtual payment. No money is taken) however we do accept BPay, direct debit, bank transfer and PayPal. We like to confirm with you:- ** No schoolies, bucks or hens nights , no under 25 year old in groups unless accompanied with parents as a family. You will have the whole house to yourselves, approx 5 min walk to beach. If you want to just get away from it all & have that holiday beach cottage feel without the price tag, this is it. Ample parking, just leave your car in the carport or on the driveway (room for 4+ cars) and then just a short walk to the beach & shops. To keep prices down, linen not supplied, although we can arrange at cost. Wheelchair access to main part of house, ie 3 of 4 bedrooms, lounge, dining, kitchen and bathroom, also to rear deck with bbq. Just not the laundry, 4th bedroom or backyard.

Before the owners bought this home they looked at neighborhood suburbs like Terrigal (too busy) and Copacabana (too quiet), where as Avoca Beach is just a peaceful town, friendly atmosphere, lots of shops/restaurants and a great surf club, not the Surfers Paradise. The house is nice and close to the beach and away from the tourist "bowl" of late night party noises, and not that hill to climb to get home from the beach on a hot afternoon
